Developers considered The Babadook as a killer in the future. Any ideas how he could work?
I read a podcast earlier that took place in October explaining things about and the future of Dead By Daylight. Later they were talking about licensed killers that they considered which most of them were obvious to me like Chucky, Pinhead, and Pennywise but one name caught my eye..... The Babadook [aka A Bad Book]
Surprised me that they considered him as a killer since no one really talks about that movie anymore even though it was actually pretty good. Got me wondering how they would put him as a killer in the game though. He is a demon that is bound to a pop up book but with great demonic power that could actually rival against some popular horror villains. I see his power being some what of a stalk power or something unique like shadow or illusion powers. I really don't see the Mother as a survivor because the character seems a tad generic or maybe the type it has been done already in horror movies to many times. I also can't think of a place in the movie that could be a map but they could make a unique map for Babadook like abandoned mansion or some kind of shadow realm or just make only the killer like they did to Ghostface. His perks could have survivors panic or mess up like for example if you managed to hook a survivor a 3rd time or use a mori then all survivor auras will be shown for a bit or fool them with fake copies of your aura in different places on the map but of course where the fake auras are there is no heart beat.
Those are my examples but wondering on how would you make him into a good or decent killer in the game if he was ever announced or teased to be in Dead by Daylight.
