Help with a new stealth build

I have played the game for a while and I'm thinking of making a stealth build to help me survive. (I'm a survivor main) . I'm not too good in chases so I figure I could minimize that by hiding more and focusing most of my time on doing gens, healing myself and others,

My current build so far is: Lithe, Quick and Quiet, Spine Chill, and Iron Will. I also have a green key with a blood amber and Prayer Beads.

is there better perks I could use or is this good? please let me know

Thank you.

I personally would replace lithe for Urban Evasion or Fixated if you are going for true stealth.

Definitely fixated urban evasion is not as great as people say. If you really want to mind game killers replace spine chill or iron will with dance with me ( or whatever the boot one on Kate is called) because you’ll be able to silently lithe and erase all your scratch marks

I would say... Spine Chill, Iron Will, Resilience, and Sprint Burst.

    Spine Chill is a must.

Iron Will is great for losing the killer.

Resilience will increase your vault speed (including slow vaults) and after you lose the killer with Iron Will you'll have a repair speed boost when you get back on gens.

Sprint Burst lets you commit to stealth more (normally where the killer gets pretty close and you don't know if they see you, you might have to start running early so you don't risk taking a hit, revealing your location when the killer otherwise might not have seen you. with sprint burst you can wait a lot longer without risking a hit). Also, the killer is more likely to ignore you if you Sprint Burst away without taking a hit.

I like, quick and quiet, dance with me.

These are all the stealth perks I would say "NEED" to be in the build.

The other depends on your preference, inner strength is a nice stealthy healing perk that you could potentially pull of during a chase with quick and quiet. And combos well with head on.

Lithe maximizes your distance when you activate q&q and dance with me. Is the best exhaustion perk for stealth because of that.

Sprint burst is fine, but I always walk too much when I use it because I don't wanna waste the speed, so I just waste a lot of time.

Iron will gives you that extra stealthness when you get injured, but the killer can still follow the blood, so pair it with yui's perk that erases it for maximum effeciency.

Urban evasion or fixated could help you, but I find that, more often than not, they're unnecessary and waste a perk slot.

And of course, spine chill, alert, dark sense, premonition, kindred, etc. Any perk that gives you info on where the killer is, is invaluable. You don't necessarily need them, but they tell you when it's safe and when to stealth.

But don't forget rule #1: Don't be a selfcaring in the corner blendette, do gens and unhook people.

I am in the same boat as you. I don't loop particularly well. I should say I suck at it. I am much better at stealth.

I would say your best stealth build is going to be one that comes from loads of experimentation. I have tried stealth builds I saw on youtube videos, websites, here on the forum, on the steam forums and I never quite found one that worked for me. Finally I just started experimenting. I came across a build where I started escaping more, getting more points every match, and my rank has been getting consistently better ever since. I haven't seen my particular build recommended anywhere. I use:

    • Spine Chill - for me it's invaluable to know when the killer is getting close.
    • Urban Evasion - when Spine Chill lights up I am able to get away while staying crouched at full walking speed. More often than not I am able to get away without being seen as I don't have to run and leave scratch marks
    • Calm Spirit - I don't disturb crows. When I do need to run not having crows constantly chirping makes me fairly silent. Recently with lots of people playing doc because of the rework it's been helpful there. Doc can't make me scream with it.
    • Iron Will - obviously not making noise while injured is invaluable if you don't want to be found by the killer

I found certain perks I liked a lot and worked well for me, but didn't work well in conjunction with others. The ones I use now just seem to work best together for me personally. It just takes finding the combination that makes a difference for you.

First obviously wear something dark. I play stealth. I like Fixated (and previously UE), SC+med kit (but now use inner strength+detective's), I liked Quick and Quiet, Lithe or BT and Left Behind. Currently running Fixated, IS+detective and BL (but not as useful on some maps). Wear Feng's GG Noob outfit, but obviously a Claudette P3 is even better.

Most of my advice has already been said but one thing I can suggest. Run pharmacy and farm a couple green medkits. Try to build a stock pile. Take off pharmacy and bring a medkit instead of a key. Even the best players get ht from time to time and sometimes there isn't a fellow survivor around to heal you. Stealth is difficult already but it's even harder when your bleeding. SC takes too long and I don't feel like devoting a slot to it.

    All else has been said.

Fixated or UE. Spine chill for early warning(works wonders on gf) dance with me+lithe to try to break los after a fast vault, q&q+head on for locker plays. SB is a great "oh #########" button encase your stealth fails. Mainly against billy, LF, and, to a lesser degree, Oni. Those are the only killers I won't try to stealth against unless I brought SB. If I'm crouching behind something and they find me I probably won't make it to the pallet before they chainsaw me.

If you use IS+detective, almost 100% you'll get a totem to kill and you heal in 6 seconds--it will cost you two perks and you only have a maximum of 5 totems but I have found it works well as a solo when you can't count on anyone healing you. I don't run any of the alert perks--like Spine or Alert or Premonition--just try to stay aware if someone is about to run up on me. Even better if you are swf on comms on that point.

I have been messing around with inner strength and I like it. I tend to at least look for totems in between moving to gens for fear of noed. Depends on the flow of the match. If were doing well I'll totem hunt, if were doing bad I ignore totems for gens.

If you add detective you'll see the totems (and gens and chests) close by. Should get one done early on. I like it better than SC. You could also use small game instead of detective as well.

I suggest running the build Fixated, Iron Will, Lucky Break, and Sprint Burst.

Fixated is more useful than Urban Evasion because it allows you to move around objects faster than you normally will be able to. This helps you get to cover faster.

Iron Will and Lucky Break combined make you as stealthy while you're injured as you would be if you were healthy. Just try to heal up as soon as possible so that Lucky Break's timer will pause and Fixated will work again.

Sprint Burst is the best stealthy perk imo. It makes stealthy plays less risky, and it had a great synergy with Fixated.
