Rework Nurse again
Hello everyone, now I know I'm going to get hate and troll on this but hear me out.
I posted a thread about the Nurse and how I didn't like how she played. Since then i went back in and put in work with her. Now i got her to Rank 11 and I can say that I still feel she needs a rework. The following reasons are my opinions why.
1) Her blink is good, but its also her Achilles Heel. The reason, her fatigue duration. Her base fatigue is the same no matter the distance traveled, and is increased with chain blink and missed swings. This out the gate means you need to land your shots or your are screwed hard, more so than with other killers. This wouldn't feel so bad if her head stood up for you to keep an eye on target like all other killers, sadly she rather look at her feet when shes fatigued. What this turns into is a game I like to call "Find the target you found already". This gives survivors an greater chance of losing you for no work on their part. (talking about just the blinking not the swinging). After you found them again you still need to wait for that second blink most of the time (since you no longer get it after fatigue) this gives the survivor more time to increase the distance between you and them. Once you get that second blink its kinda pointless cause the distance they gained is typically the same distance as your max blink and well the cycle starts all over again.
When i use blink, it doesn't feel like I'm using an ability like Billies chainsaw, Freddy's snares, or Michael Stalking in terms of helping me be a better killer. Using blink feels more like a catch up mechanic.
Half the time with a good survivor, once I start charging blink they just run back to me. At this point I can either blink past (which i think it should stop if you collide with them) or i can look at the ground ( which uses the amount of time i charged blink as the length of time it takes me to move 2 feet.) since there is no cancel blink option. This gets tricky if you are inside a building or in an indoor map.
2) Her addons are trash at best. I never see crappier add-ons in my life.
Bad Mans keep sake: Is just The perk Nurses Calling ( granted you can use this as a substitute and get an additional perk.)
Dull Bracelet: Decrease blink for BP on Blink hits!! Like seriously.
Anxious Gasp: If you blink past a survivor they scream and you get additional BP. ( This could of been good but The nurse shrieks so its hard to hear the scream. Furthermore, it doesn't tell you how close you need to be for it to trigger. so ehh)
Torn book mark: Gives a blink but need LOS
Match box: Move at 4.2m/s but lose a blink, So you make me into a killer that can move like a normal killer but lose a blink.
Some might disagree with me but removing blinks or limiting it just removes the feel for the killer imo.
Here are some things i think would be a good rework.
1) increase the blink window. 1.5 sec is you arrive and you need to make a choice with out really getting to asses the situation. (I'm aware there is an add on but its like an additional .25 seconds)
2) If holding a charge let us either (a) cancel it or (b) still swing, Like the weapon is in our other hand idk why she couldn't
3)Make it so we can see where we will land by default. This would give the killers a better sense of blinking thus increasing decision making and avoiding not blinking through walls, miss blinking up or down floors.
4)Give some good add-ons

I absolutely agree with you ! But as always there are people who say that "everything is fine" ...
Without her "Plaid" (landing) she is weak! The nerve of her blink made her weak, her infinite blink was the only thing capable of managing a team. Yes yes "his Plaid is a common addon" .. if you have blood points! But not everyone has the chance to make 4 survivors, or have 20k in all the games !!! I do not count the disconnections on the loading screen, which cause the addons to be lost (I think)!
In addition, every time I meet a Nurse it makes me sad! If she plays well there is a "Plaid" with her. In addition, his Plaid is not always present, sometimes there will not be one on the web!
Head spinning, music, screams ... how do you hear the survivors ....
I've asked for her several times, but I don't think they care! By cons the Doctor is OP but we still rebuff .... LOL
