Hey there members of the fog, i want to ask the majority of red ranks here about their play preference. Some info about myself, I played both survivor and killer

First of all do you guys play solo or swf? Reason is i only play solo and at red ranks i'm being matched with purple/green ranks survivors but for some reason when i'm playing killer, it's all red ranks or all purple ranks( are these just matchmaking or swf).

Secondly ranks is confusing me i'm not sure if it's because of THE ARCHIVES or anything but these players playstyle does not seem to reflect their ranks, back then you can tell oh these players are green/purple/red ranks so you can clearly associate their playstyle with their ranks but nowadays you can't.( Is this based on how survivors can rank up easily or is this just based on their playstyle when doing an archives)

idk how many times we have to have this conversation but here we go again:

yes, ranks are meaningless, they are, they JUST are, it only reflects how much you have played since the reset.

So just take Rank for what its worth, namely: NOTHING.

Now apart from all of that, what are you actually asking?

I play solo in red ranks, always get paired with purple/green ranks. Recently there's always been at least 1 teammate that Urban evasions all game, even when the killer is on the opposite end of the map. I'm rank 13 as killer and the ranks are a rainbow. Some brown, green, purple and red

Ranks mean nothing really. If you're red rank it usually just means you play a lot, doesn't necessarily mean skill

Ranks are pointless.

Survivors get pips for doing nothing.

Killers get no pios for doing well. Oh, you killed them all in 2 minutes? -1 pip for you! How dare you do your job to well? You're supposed to let the survivors live and have fun.
