A look at the killers perspective and other solutions

I have been following the conversations on this forum for a while and have heard many things being discussed here by killers. As a survivor main I can't really speak to the problems killers have been facing. So I'm writing this in order to gain a perspective in the things killer's face, how unfair it is, and solutions to solving these problems.

Another big issue I have been seeing is the discussion on keys and mori's and weather if they are overpowered, as both can make the game very unenjoyable for both sides. And I could understand how both sides feel about them. So I also wanted to propose a solution to them. For keys how about make it so that the key can open the hatch to only the person who uses it and instantly close to other people unless they have a very rear add on. and for red moris why not make it so that they can kill the survivor after their second hook.

Please give me your opinion and comment on these solutions and weather or not they would even work.

Hey, as someone that's a red rank survivor and purple ranked killer, I'll bring you up to speed with killer gripes.

Speed of the game is a big issue. Many on both survivor and killer sides complain that the game is just too fast. Gens can be completed too quickly, and while the issue has been partially alleviated due to toolbox changes, the game is still pretty fast with perks like Prove Thyself and Leader along with gen-stacking.

Map size is a big problem. Because most killers don't have much mobility, someone like The Ghost Face will struggle on large maps like Red Forest. Map size needs to be toned down to allow all killers to apply pressure aptly.

Second chance / game winning perks. There are a few very problematic perks that can allow one of the sides to make every mistake possible and still win the game. Perks such as Object of Obsession, No One Escapes Death, and Decisive Strike can instantly turn over the game in favor of one side even if said side made a ton of mistakes.

Keys and Moris are also a huge issue. These can both win the game almost instantly, especially Moris. Many players request that keys are changed to something like only opening the hatch for one player with a Dull Key and giving an unlock animation so the killer can stop the survivor before unlocking the hatch. Moris should probably be changed to only activating once all survivors are hooked at least once.

thefallenloser was pretty much spot on with everything they said in regards to issues, not agreeing with their opinion or proposed changes though. Don't really agree with NoEd being a very problematic perk when as they themselves acknowledged that the games/gen speeds are too fast. They also missed how much Killer's hate SWF's.

Also, suggestions have a specific section on the forums. It probably won't be seen but at least you'll get it out there.
