Connection cut very suddenly

I was playing killer as a spirit and I got some very lucky hooks in. There was no sign of lagging at all. Someone else just got unhooked and i went right back to them and they made it very easy for me to follow their trail, along with their blood. As soon as I got near them, I started to phase and the bar filled (which doesn't happen if you're losing connection), then bam, right there, i lost connection, except my internet was fine, and when I clicked continue, I was just on the page with the killer and it didn't say anything about not being able to update my rank or that I needed an internet connection to view this content. And I was penalized. As someone who went through 300 kb internet with this game, I know what it's like to lag. I was not lagging at this time. It was super sudden. When you're lagging, you see other players move in one direction and collide with things. You can't vault, you can't use your abilities, you can't use items, you can't start a gen unless you're already on it, etc. This was in the middle of haunting and I was thrown off. It was liked the players booted me. Is this possible or has anyone experienced this? I'm not a killer main

    I just got disconnectet when i died on the hook last day. :/ Mates thought i did it on purpose but i didnt. :( That never happened to me until now. As far as i know it wasnt my Wifi because my GF who played as a Killer in a different Match, didnt had anyone problem while we both use the same Wifi.

    Something that happens to me when I'm playing killer is all 4 survivors will dc at the same time, but I still get the points and a pip if I earned one, so I don't know what's going on there.

    Yes this happened to me too aswell yesterday. I was playing a relaxed oni game and BAM suddenly we are all at the postgame and I havethe "dc" icon on me, like dafuq? I was in the same time in Discord talking to friends, I didnt got any dc, my connection was completly stable. I got a Dc penatly for that also... that sucks honestly.

    Maybe there is any information from someone from BHVR about that? What is causing this random instant dcs and why do we get a penalty for that?
