Is deathslinger actually good?
Deathslinger looks cool and fun but i'm on console so is it as good as it looks or is it another legion?

Yes.... wait no.....but yes......we dont know really, wait a month after its release and im sure many will have figured out all the quirks and functions and synergies with the killer so a proper conclusion can be formed.

No. His map presence is as non existent as the Huntress without her lethality. The Deathslinger is a ######### killer.

Too soon to give an opinion on the matter. Deathslinger may get buffed when he gets released on live servers.

Sadly hes cool but once again hes really bad and even if they buff him its gonna be pointless because he has no gen pressure.... But this game is all about having fun its not about balance

Your right it is supposed to be all about fun, but some people take it into such a way that it is competitive and those who do take it competitive are not aware that its just for fun. I understand it feels good to win time to time but you gotta let the other guy win too. But I believe DeathSlinger is pretty decent the thing is with him is that you have to play him right then he becomes viable. for example hit a survivor before you shoot them once injured then shoot the survivor to down them. But he could use some map pressure, with the right perks he can become a very viable killer.

No, his perks also rubbish.
Survivor however has a great set of perks for SWFCs

The Deathslinger has potential. He can only really injure survivors with his melee so all of the "Normal Attack" perk effects will be compatible with him. So for example, NOED on Huntress does nothing to her hatchets/power but NOED lets the Deathslinger instadown survivors he reels in.
Aside from mechanical info though, it's hard to say right now.

No but yes but more so no. He’s great in a 1v1 and wasting a bit of time with DW but that’s pretty much it. He has no map pressure and having 110% movement? You bet gens are gonna fly in an open map. He’s not great at spreading damage and snowballing as you have to hit one survivor per shot then reload, huntress can chain hits way easier.

He has potential from the looks of it.
I think what will make or break him is if a dominant game tactic comes out that wrecks his power. On one PTB game I saw someone had their struggle set to a button and it DRASTICALLY reduced the actual use of the chain. So if survivors start macroing a struggle key then you can watch Death slinger power get slapped.
Granted I wouldn't blame survivors for macroing a struggle key anyway since struggling is bloody boring and just makes my wrist fall asleep.

He will be fun at first until his mediocrity shines against adept survivors. Then you will get bullied trying to make it work, then he will be boring, shelved until they buff him late 2021.

I'm gonna predict he's not gonna be terrible, but not anything special either. He's definitely gonna get bullied to kingdom come by SWF teams though if he stays the same as he was in the PTB.

Slap on Save the Best for Last and you have a guaranteed 4k each match if you're good at FPShooters.
I played against him at Ranks 4 and 1's and they're lethal.
