Party Creation Failed because you are already in a party

Playing on PS4.

  • Every time I finish a match this morning I get kicked back to the screen where you choose between playing as killer or survivor
  • I choose survivor
  • Get the message in the subject
  • No matter how many times I try I get this message.
  • Closing DBD and reopening doesn't help
  • Have to reboot the PS4 to be able to get into a lobby.
  • Play a game and the cycle repeats

I haven't joined a party. I haven't received a request to join a party. I have checked to see if the PS4 says I am in an active party and I'm not.

Has anyone else ever had this happen, and if so did you figure out how to make it stop?
