Nerf Billy ?
There have being "rumours" floating about so lets nip this in the bud.
As I sit here playing my favourite game, dodging lobbies and hospital map as killer, to those who may entertain notions about a nerf on billy I say to you, do you want a whole bunch of killers to go on strike ? do you want 30 min - 1hr survivor game wait times ? do you want to make a bad situation even worse ?
The bloodshed that will be spilt if billy gets the nerf will be comparable to the great emu wars fought in Australia.

If they nerf the only killer who can handle gen speed right now i promise you there will be war unlike any other because the devs already are showing very strong survivor bias.

It will just make bad queue times worse. There are few viable killers already, so making the most balanced killer in the game weaker because survivors like to cry about his chainsaw isn't the way to fix the problem.
I remember in one of Scott Jund's vids he pointed out that 90%+ of players are terrible at this game. Which is fine, but then they blame the game for it, instead of improving as players. Whiny survivors is the reason killers have it so hard now. And even though the devs will still probably ignore killers and heed survivors and new players over veterans, it should still be discussed.

Billy will definitely be a target soon because he still has not the same amount of rare/uncommon ... addons, and since "consistency" is a point now on dev side the addons will be changed. Which will also change Bubbas addons because he is using some of the same addons. Hopefully they don't touch Billy's basekit like they ruined Nurse's, but since cooldown is quite popular in every killer power (like they added cooldown on Blinks and Static Blast), I'm strongly afraid that they add cooldown after chainsaw usage as well. Or maybe you need to refill gas in your chainsaw or some badword
Although I don't like to play Billy as I cannot manage to control the first-second-super-turn-speed no matter how often I play him, which you need to master to be a good Billy.

And I'm strongly afraid that they will nerf insta chainsaws and stering addons, as these are the only addons really worth using.
Also smells like consistency. They nerfed the Spirit's post phasing addons so that you need the purple and the green addon combined, to have the same effect like old purple addon had itself. They nerfed the Spirit's activation charge speed addons so that you need the green and the yellow combined to have the same effect like old green addon had itself. They nerfed Freddy's slowdown addons so that you need the purple and the green addon combined, to have the same effect like old purple addon had itself.
I guess the insta chainsaw will experience the same, although I don't think it is necessary. I don't even see people complain about it. Let's see what happens

Maybe look at it the other way: If they were adjusting gen-speeds so killers that are considered bad have it easier, the killers that are now considered strong would get even stronger. So they have to be balanced "down" to other killers strength before any way of fixing gen-speeds. Otherwise those overused strong killers will be even more overused and fixing them then would even be harder since everyone would complain then more than now.
Ofc ideally you would balance everything in one go, but that is not feasable at all.

All I see this "rumors" coming from are kilelr mains. Never saw any survivor talking about Billy nerf rumors. Seems suspicious.

Solid Survivors make lots of Hillbillies to m1 them at loops.
I don't think he needs nerfs, only look on add-ons (carburator tuning guide should be very rare).

Billy is almost unviable in Red Ranks. he's reduced to an M1 killer most of the time as his attack is very easy to dodge, especially for a rank 1 sweaty survivor.

Add-ons maybe, but he is the most balanced killer in the game rn

It's more a speculation. People are afraid that the killer gets nerfed when the time comes to rework his AddOns.If I think about it, it's actually fearmongering...

If they nerf Billy, then it's tombstone piece Myers and/or infinite tier 3 w/ebony mori from here on out. I don't expect the Devs to listen to reason, just complaints that will reel them in more money.

Nah, I think it's gonna be Freddy or GF next. That's who everyone's whining about. And when, not if, it happens, that's when it's GAME OVER. I see a lot of killer mains giving behavior the finger.
