Unpopular opinion: the entire goal of the nurse rework was to make people stop playing her
That’s it the devs wanted people to stop playing her, and they did just that. So many people stopped playing her it’s so sad. She already took so much skill to use, then her addons which were arguably crutch got butchered into meme addons, and DONT even get me started on that long Ass cool down it’s ridiculous. Not to mention all her BUGS THERES SO MANY NURSE BUGS OH MY GOD FIX THEM PLEASE.

It’s actually 6 seconds 😆😆🤣 and the first 3 are you fatigued and your base movement speed is slower 😂🤣😆😆 and the survivor will get farther away as you have to wait for all your blinks to come back 🤣😂😆😆 I think you should go play nurse and see his frustrating it is without addons 😂🤣😆😆😆

i see you don't play nurse.
It is 3.5 seconds. Survivors run at 4m/s so you just gained 14m on a character that is slower than you and is stationary during fatigue.
14m can get you to cover very easily, forcing the nurse to literally guess what you are going to do, while all you need to do is be random or use the 3rd person camera to watch her from around a corner and counter the blink.
You also get a handy dandy ghost image to tell you exactly where she is going.

So it's not 6 seconds of a cooldown. Its 3 seconds of fatigue, which you got before the changes ANYWAY, and then 2 or 3 of a cooldown.
I play nurse as well as the rest. Which is why I know it's not a 6bsecond cooldown. You're counting 3 seconds that existed before the cooldown was even added.
Also the immense amount of 😆😆😆😂😂😂😆 tells me you dont have an actual response.
I can tell you assume what people do and dont play.
I do play nurse, as well as everyone else. And it's not a 6 second cooldown. It's a 3 or 3.5 stun, which she ALWAYS GOT, and a 2 or 3 second cooldown in which you're already gaining your first blink back ANYWAY.
Also, if you have survivors knowing where you're going to teleport, you're doing it wrong. I know because while I'm not a GOOD nurse, I do understand how she works, and have SEEN AND LOST to good nurses.
Your "handy dandy image" is there and helpful for .5 seconds. Nice side argument though.
What an impressive addition to the conversation. Oh wait. It's not. It's you two being an echo chamber because you want to say that 3 seconds of fatigue (which isnt new) + 3 seconds of cooldown (which you have two charges) = 6 second cooldown on every blink.

well... its a 2.5 second stun and a 3.5 second cooldown. If you really want to get into it.
Previously you gained 10m of ground on a nurse per fatigue and she could double blink again. If we add her old fatigue to the new coldown, you now gain 24m on a nurse every 2 blinks. The nurse can only blink 20m with the first blink so she must wait for the second blink to recharge.

Well, with the Nurse changes, those who only played her for her strength ditched because she required actual skill to play, (MORE than before, but not much.........) so those who remained truley cared about the character and could still use her to her full potential.
It feels like they all moved over to Hillbilly.
Overall I'm hapoy for Nurse. Those who play her WANT to play her and want to do well with her, not just picking the top pick because it's an easy win.

She still took skill to use besides 5 blink, the addons were the problem, skill was easily taken out of the equation as soon as addons were involved but the base kit was fine. She’s not in a good spot either she’s filled with bugs I think they need to fix the bugs then remove the cool down because it wasn’t necessary.

Uuuh. from your own description she's now like an old ripped apart and stitched back teddy bear, that has no value he used to have, but some people still love him because they have a personal attachment to him or have a thing to that kind of aesthetics.
Only those who truly love her still play her. Like, really man? That's a way to design a playable character? That's like a joke about Adam or Quentin (all 5 people that main them).

I've said this countless amounts of time and I will say it again,
Nurse did not need a rework at all. She was fine the way she was and if anything, I would've rather them nerf her +blink addons because those were the only "OP" addons.
Nurse post-rework is a huge mess, her addons don't fit her power and most of them give her a huge downside and only give her double BP for ONE blink action.

I'm starting to think that this was exactly their goal, because her bugs and every feedback got ignored by the devs for the past couple of months.

She’s not bad now, still playable but what really kills me is that pallets are now a threat to her. You take the pallet stun, in which you are immobile, then you have a split second of immobility and your vision is going back to normal, THEN you take the fatigue, in which you have severely reduced movement speed and vision. Old nurse just blinked on through a pallet and wasn’t affected by the stun, the good old days.

Not really as she was always low on the pick rate as the stats are for all platforms and she was always played most on pc only.
She is in 13th place overall and 11th place at red ranks for all platforms which doesn't tell us anything really. I would imagine her pick rate would have went down but how much who knows.
In terms of kill rates the stats were also skewed as they were released at a time when players were trying out the changes and getting used to them. Over all about a 45% kill rate which is actually higher than before (last one was 40%) but at red ranks in the recent stats that increased to around 65%.
We don't know the actual impact and some may see her just as much as before due to what region they play in.

I think the cooldown is perfectly fine without add-ons. The extra cooldown will take you maybe, what, 10 more seconds at most to down someone? The things that aren't fine are the endless amount of bugs plaguing her and she's getting worse with each patch.

Absolutely. The devs have their own stats, they know how pathetic she is, but survivors hate any killer that can counter looping. They want people to stop playing her.

She is still playable but a lot of her add ons are terrible and the bugs can be absolutely game breaking at times. She feels balanced but at the same time entirely broken since her power recently is very inconsistent. I wish the old add ons came back but without the 5 omega blink nurse.

If that was their goal than they achieved it, but I personally believe that if they got rid of the bugs she's had since they turned on the servers, she'd be a lot better to play. But god forbid DS was bugged vs Doctor Carter and 7 days later they push a hotfix to fix the DS bug but ignore all other bugs

Unless you are talking about just bug fixes, she is mostly fine. She has a few bugs that need to be dealt with like blink randomly not sending far. That annoying visual bug with charging a blink.
It would be nice if maybe they upped her movement speed to be the same as survivors rather than slower like it is now so that it doesn't feel as bad on some more indoor/enclosed maps. She still wouldn't be able to loop without her power but it would just make it a bit less painful.

Doesn't matter if that was your intention or not, all that matters is that your rework made people stop playing her. You know her pick and kill rate is terrible, yet you do nothing.

That's rather convincing given the fact that she has game breaking bugs that have 0 announcements to getting fixed.
The agreement was a REWORK to her addons, then your Development team went ahead and gave her a Cooldown Bar on top of her fatigue.
After the complaints were satiated, all Nurse mains vanished and the kill rate dropped by an alarming rate.
She's the only killer I have as P3,
The only killer I've ever cared about, the only one I've ever bothered learning, she's the reason for my defection from Console to PC.
I've been staying at Rank 15, and 16 as opposed to my long ago Rank 3-5 because I cannot compete with survivors anymore. The Red bar has ruined her, the only killer I've literally cared about has been emasculated. I understand the kill rate was staggering, I understand she was broken at times with some addons but this rework has not been beneficial and I'm sure you've seen some empathetic posts around the forums due to the fact that her rework has left her crippled. I don't care about her addons, I did not care much for her addons back in the day either since I only used Faster Blinking speed addons. Now I find myself using the same 2 addons just to keep up with survivors.
I miss her, I miss going against Nurses who were curious enough to learn her. Now it seems like the once reigning Queen is merely but a jester in a court of survivors.

I could believe that they did that for console. They didnt even consult them about a killer that was already hard to play due to physical limitations.

I wager part of her buggy nature is due to dedicated servers. Which, until the devs figure out how to streamline them, those bugs will remain. The other half have been with her for years. Devs either don't care to fix them, or don't know how.
As for her 'rework,' it was half baked. Half her addons are memes, the other half very situational. The fact that one of her Iri addons turns her into an M1 killer had to be a joke the devs were having. But that's fine, for the most part. A killer should be strong without addons.
The CC, though. . . that makes me believe they simply ran out of ideas, and needed to add something else. Remember, they clearly said 'small tweaks' and 'mostly numbers' when we freaked out that they were going to turn her into Legion. Then they go and raise her skill ceiling even more. So, yeah, I can see how they wanted to bury Nurse so they didn't have to deal with her. It's not like we'll have much else to go on, as they won't actually say anything else other than 'I promise the reason for the rework was not to make people stop playing her' with nothing to go after that.

Well now everyone feels now how old Legion mains feel. I can feel the pain of these ppl but just like us you guys have to get over it, the devs just dont care :). And I agree that the change was totally unnecessary, it really feels like the reason of that was to punish ppl that likes her, even though almo says the opposide.

But thats exactly what you accomplished. You slapped in an extremely unfun mechanic, added multiple gamebreaking bugs that take away your power and litterally allow survivors to hold the game hostage (since the Nurse is slower than survivors), leave said bugs in the game for SIX MONTHS BY NOW , and then have the boldness to not even ADRESS all of this mess.
It doesn't matter what you say about your intentions, because the message you sent out to the community was "F you all Nurse players."

I'm curious as to why the hell did y'all add a cooldown to her basekit? Y'all added a cooldown on top of a cooldown and not only that, y'all added a cooldown to her main source of movement and expect us to run one add on to make up for it which makes her both boring and annoying to play. Nurse is the reason why I switched to PC, because I was having so much fun with her and I wanted to challenge myself by moving to PC so I could deal with survivors that know how to counter her.
Ask me, I'd say y'all are making changes to satisfy survivors without even considering how it would impact killers. For example, y'all 'KNEW' Sally's basekit wasn't the problem with her, it was her add-ons, but y'all nerfed her main source of movement, and didn't even do a survey for her changes because y'all don't give 2 shits about killers.
If y'all are going to keep up with this domino affect of killers getting nerfed, the minimum y'all can do is big fixes for killers so we can enjoy the game and wait patiently for survivor nerfs to balance out the game
