So I lost connection at the end of the game. I was at the gate and i disconnected at the very last second, the game took a pip away. Im now back at rank 9 and I im kinda mad, they need to figure out a way to know if they disconnected on purpose or if I was just a connecrion thing

People would simply unplug their router to avoid DC penalties

They can't tell the difference between an unintended d/c and the pulling of the plug so to speak.
Some people are going to get unfairly punished for their unintended d/c, but obviously the decision was made that the benefits overall of the d/c penalty system outweighs such costs, I think they are probably right.
