Am I in the wrong here?
So I queued up into a game as killer and had to go afk for pretty much the entire match. When I got back, three of the four survivors were circling around me, the fourth one had already left. I hit one of them then I down the person. I hook them but a second survivor goes to unhook them. I down the unhooker and hook them. Then the third survivor goes to unhook them. I down the third survivor and hook them. After this, the second survivor who got unhooked goes for the unhook and I down them before they get the unhook. I slug them for the ds, and after what I thought was a minute, I hooked them. The first hooked survivor gets out while the other two die. The second survivor, (who in the end screen did show to have ds) said I had some nerve to kill them.
So my question is, should I have let them go?

Absolutely not. It was their choice to do that. They had nerves of steel to do that incase you'd come back, they got cocky and you punished them.

No, here's some advice for next time.
Do it as Myers but don't actually go afk. Just stand there and stalk people until you go into tier 2 and hold it until you're one tap from tier 3.
Near the end when they're playing with you, use your infinite tombstone/tombstone/tombstone piece and Insta mori one.
It's great.
