Where you lure the killer to gens people are working on.

I dont think you need much of a build to do so, just Red Herring.

But I already said, all Red Herring needs is that you cant "pop" a gen if someone is currently working on it, simple

I wouldn't do that, since if you run away from the gen to a locker and then someone comes to repair it and you wouldn't be able to activate it even tho you didn't know that somebody went to that gen when you left.

What I would do is just let the other Survivors know that you have that perk, something like little icon of that perk when it is active, so the other Survivors know that they can be trolled, and that icon will go away after successfully activating that perk, alerting the Killer.

yeah and what would be the problem of that?

I work on a gen for 3 seconds, trying to have red herring, jump in a locker, someone else starts working on it.... oh dear I cant activate red herring, guess this entire game is now over? we lost?

Like that is just playing the game right?

but an Icon would work I guess....yet another one

Lmao I don't know what are you trying to say with that.

I don't think a perk should be disabled just because someone is working on a gen, you can make the same argument with Bond, because with Bond you can sandbag people.

Another Idea, if you don't like icons that much what if the Gen sparkled when the perk activates? Like when you missed the Great Skillcheck with the Old Ruin, I think that would be nice.

Im just saying its OK if there is something that makes your perk not work perfectly.

Like lets talk about your Bond example, with bond, you still dont see people who hide in lockers right? should there be an icon or something stateing a survivor is closeby (like Whisperer) if they are hiding in a locker?

No, its fine as it is, if they are in a locker well then you cant see them, thems the rules.

So yeah if someone is working on a gen you had touched for 3 seconds to prep it for Red Herring, and thereby it gets turned off, I dont think thats such a problem, that is just part of the game.

But in the end I stated an Icon is fine, I just feel the game already gives too many icons as is, too much information.

The idea of a Gen sparkeling with maybe different coloured sparks, like green or purple, something that really stands out so they know Red Herring is in effect is a fine idea.

Heck we could combine that with my idea, Survivors would just see it was prepped with Red Herring (by coloured sparks) so they know to perhaps not work on it.

OR if they think its better that gen gets done, they can still work on it, turning Red Herring off.

You're right, there are too many icons, I like your combined idea tho. :)
