Gunslinger's Terror radius
Has anyone noticed how inaccurate the gunslinger terror radius has been? It doesnt really consists of a heartbeat, just chase music. Also, it only intensifies when he's at least 15 meters away from me. I legit had matches where he was right next to me, but yet he sound further away. Am I the only one who experienced this?

yeah his terror radius is weird, he becomes a stealth killer with monitor and abuse, it doesn't intensify at all..

Just think about it as if it were part of his power, like spirit's passive phasing.
I actually really like it.

Yep, it's very weird. I only notice him when I actually see him right next to me.. and even then it sounds like he's far away 🙄

It might not be his terror radius you're noticing. He's got a base 24m radius, and it's fairly normal. It'll have the heartbeat and everything.
It might seem weird for a few reasons:
- If they're using Monitor & Abuse, that'll bring them down to 16m. Chases start at 12m, so there's not much room between being in their terror radius and being in chase. It might ramp up really quickly.
- He also has add-ons that change his terror radius when aiming down sights.
Do either of those sound like what's happening?

yeah i need to get used to his Terror Radius aswell.
i can never tell how far he is actually away xD
its a matter of time though, we'll get used to it eventually

M&A could be, but he didnt aim when he went over to me. The terrorradius Just seems weird and small and you dont get time to react at all tbh

Not in my case. I screamed because of infectious fright without listening to any terrar radius.
3 -
Do moniter and abuse stack with the add ons that reduce terror radius? I played a game earlier and it didn't seem like it did much however, I forgot I was tall so they could have just seen me coming and ran before I got there

it's not about how big his terror radius is, it's about the actual music that plays.. it just sounds so dull and doesn't intensify, a hag can run monitor and abuse and you can still tell how close she is by the terror radius music that gets more intense the closer she is

Infectious is distance based, not radius

Also his music is more quiet at the edge than other killers, so all that together makes it pretty small.
It may also be bugged, because I've had him chasing me and even though he is right behind me like his stain is almost upon me- it doesn't play music or even have a terror radius still.
I have also screamed from infectious fright with him- while not hearing any terror radius at all.
That is incorrect. It makes you scream when you are in the killer's terror radius.

Pros and cons of Deathslinger.
Pros:
Has a ranged weapon
Has a 24m TR
Can Pull survivors out of advantageous spots and loops
Has add-ons to help him secure a hit via lowering his TR, Reloading faster
Quick draw and firing of his weapon
Cons:
Towering height comparable to Plague
4.4ms (110%) Movement Speed
Limited 18m range for weapon
Weapon cannot down with ranged attack, Survivors must be reeled in first for the strike
Weapon inflicts Deep Wound Status Effect and Timer upon Chain breaking
Chain break stuns Deathslinger for 4 seconds
Loud Foot Stomps
Loud Weapon giving global noise notification, and Scares crows within his TR giving survivors visible confirmation of his whereabouts
Conclusion:
The reason his TR is small, and his music is subtle is that, Unlike Huntress, His weapon has a lot of drawbacks in damage and especially in its limited range. Add in the Fact that he's crazy tall, Moves at the same speed as Huntress, and has global Audio notifications for when he's using his weapon, and what you get is a killer that clearly wouldn't be able to get close enough to survivors at all if his TR and Music were at the standard size of 32m, or loudness of Demogorgon's, Oni's or Doctor's. An example of another killer with a Limited ranged attack that benefits more when their TR is lowered to 24m by M&A: Plague. Like Plague, he moves slower while charging/aiming down the sights, Unlike Plague however, Deathslinger is still limited by his slower than average movement speed, and only gets one precision shot before he has to spend even more time slowing down to reel in and strike a survivor, or reload. His Semi-Stealth approach is necessary for his power to be useful, otherwise every time survivors heard him coming, they'd locate him immediately due to his size, and stealth or run away. As it stands currently, Large and open maps like Disturbed ward, Blood Lodge, Ironworks of misery, and the Red forest are his bane as they allow survivors ample viewing distance of him with little to no LoS blockers, and he can't traverse them fast enough to apply adequate gen pressure.
His TR and Music seem to have been intentionally made smaller and quieter than average so that he can actually get close enough to be a threat, otherwise he literally would be the worst/most easy to avoid killer in the game with a laughably worthless ability.

I get hide and seek sniping with him in the saloon and I can't hear his TR btw, he just shooting me in outside and I'm in second floor.

if they want to make his TR smaller, just make it smaller (20m or something), making a NO SOUND TR is stupid and probably this isn't intended.

There's a very slight chance that sounds are bugged
