Make prestige more worthwhile
I'm a rank 1 Killer and and i have mostly all my Killers at level 50 and to be honest the grind of starting over just for a bloody piece of clothing just isn't worth it. Once you have every teachable the grind to get the perks you want for a certain killer is just so ######### brutal. Id rather keep them all at 50 and have every perk until they make it more worth my time to start ALL over. anyone else?

You get more than a bloody piece of clothing or weapon. Prestiging increases the chance that the more rare items, offerings, and add-ons will appear in your bloodweb.2

I only prestiged Claudette as the blood on her face makes it harder to spot her. I don't prestige as it's not worth losing Every. Single. Perk. and Add on for it. Not only that but most killers lobby dodge you for it anyhow. So, it's Def not worth the longer wait times to get into a lobby either. You already get dodged... I just wonna play 😭0

Honestly I think they should just make character levels go up to 200 and remove prestige. I also hate having to start over in any video game. The new prestige unlock system would be like this:
Reach level 51 to unlock the first piece of bloody clothing and you have an increased chance to get more uncommon add-ons (I don’t know about exact percentages)
Reach level 101 to unlock the second piece of bloody clothing you have an increased chance to get more uncommon and rare add-ons
Reach level 151 to unlock the third piece of bloody clothing you have an increased chance to get more uncommon, rare, and very rare add-ons
Reach level 200 to earn some kind of one time bonus (like maybe a certain number of free good add-ons, BP, or free perk tier increases)
Or maybe have something like Titanfall 2 where you can use BPs or shards to permanently unlock perks only for the character you want to prestige.1 -
You don't have to prestige.... also they will be looking at bloodweb again soon

this is something they do need to do but instead make it so each prestige lowers the cost of the items by a certain percentage for survivor and killer. id say 10% per prestige rank. they say that you get more rares in your bloodweb but honestly i see no difference in mine on my P3 chars.

It is not mandatory and that shouldnt change.
If you dont wanna grind, well then DONT prestige?0 -

From what I've heard, P1 gives you 10% increased chance to get uncommons in your bloodweb, P2 gives you a 10% increased chance to get rares and a 20% increased chance to get uncommons, and P3 gives you a 10% increased chance to get very rares, a 20% increased chance to get rares, and a 30% increased chance to get uncommons. It's not even that good unless you're prestiging Billy, LF, or Myers.

I'd argue that for killers, the difference in add-ons can be significant enough to warrant it. Though some still suffer penalties from higher-rarity add-ons (like Doctor electrodes), most would benefit from having higher-rarity version of their base add-on sets.
Hag especially can benefit from getting higher-rarity insects/eggs/necklets than the base. My preferred addons with her are Dried Cicada and Cracked Turtle Egg, both of which are Rare. Having 20% more of those would be nice.
Now, that's not saying I wouldn't like some further bonus. At the very least, I think we should get partial BP credit for each item remaining in our inventory when we prestige.
My previous post was simply stating the fact that you do get more from prestiging than just the bloody clothes, in response to the OP's assertion that you are "starting over just for a bloody piece of clothing".0 -

I can see the difference between my one P3 character and all my P0 characters. The P0 characters have far more brown items/add-ons/offerings than the P3 character. Right now my only P3 is Claudette, I'm working on Hag (P1 at the moment) for the next one.

You dont understand, its supposed to be a feature to show off, it is supposed to take massive amount of time without any big reward

i already got 6 of them P3 all perks and i am currently working on number 7 (clowni)... i kinda like the blood skins...

I pretty much do it to get the perk builds I like.
I was hyped to get the build I really wanted for a Survivor and pretty much nailed it but over again and spent levels pleading "Just rank one self-care...that's all I want...please, game? I'm not going to get it am I?"
But the bloodweb -really- wanted me to have Hope over and over.

Personally, I typically only P1 killers so I can get bloody weapons. I see no need in prestiging survivors.

It was my ocd that made me p3 all the survivors.... And now I do the same on the killer side.
Yeah, prestiging should mean more. But so should ranking up and devotion.0 -

In my opinion the prestige as it is now is fine.
You don't have to do it , no one is forcing you , and if you don't think that those cosmetics are not worth it , or that small chance of getting better things (which is not worth it at all) , then just don't prestige.PS
What does being rank 1 have anything to do with prestige? Irrelevant.0 -
why should they ?
prestiging is nothing special, and never was something special, except legacy prestige.
it's not hard to get prestige three, just a tiny bit grindy, so why making it special.
if they make it more worthwhile, than it should be harder to prestige.0 -

Your mileage may vary of course, but it's worth it to me.0 -
The only killers I have as a prestige 3 are Wraith (because I want to have better add-ons for him) and Nurse (because she looks beautiful in the bloody outfit).
Other than that, I doubt I will ever prestige anyone again.0
