Where are the sabo squads?

I was expecting more, but I honestly only found 1 of them since the update, and they made me miss exactly 1 hook.

Is anyone finding more of them? How is it going?

I wish I had your luck... Unfortunately for me I've had to deal with a lot of them, and they always bring in Sabo/toolbox and Breakout. Primarily this happens with SWF groups, but I still have had a few solo groups harass me with it, and unless I equip a full anti-sabo build, I end up having a very hard time. I don't get them every game mind you, but I'd say on average I have gotten them 4 out of every 10 games. I attribute it to survivors playing with the new mechanic introduced this week, and hope it will die off in a few weeks, but for now it's really frustrating being a killer.

Maybe its because I play in the evenings between 9 pm and 2 am, or maybe I just connect to a server that is rife with survivors that can't get enough of bullying the killers. Idk, I'm just hoping it'll die down soon, because this is pretty ridiculous in my experience.

Not everyone is into sabo'ing unless they specifically go into a match with the intent to do it.

Playing solo survivor, I haven't seen anyone sabo'ing.

What? You mean, what everyone expected did not happen? Now, thats a surprise!

I had exactly one guy saboing in my Killer games. Missed one hook because of that, but no big deal.

Sabo'ing isn't as fun as I imagined. Maybe other survivors are feeling the same way

I feel like sabo squads only work with petrified oaks. Hooks seem to be too close. If they have iron grasp or agitation its pretty much no chance unless you have your entire team trying to sabo.

I missed about 5 hooks last night total, but I also played way too much dbd last night (15-ish killer games). Way more sabo than I've personally seen in the past but no full on sabo squads yet. There is one sabo squad I play against every now and then on PS4 that I'm not looking forward to running into.

Also, had a 3 man slug right by a sabo'd hook because the team was playing dumb sure they broke my hook but two of the 3 slugs were already on death hook.

I run Mad Grit, Lightborn, Agitation, and Iron Grasp on Billy against every flashlight/sabotage squad I suspect. I stopped seeing them after a couple days at red ranks.

At the end of the day, Saboing isn't good. You have to devote time running around after the killer and the person he's chasing, meaning you're not doing gens. And if the killer catches on, he just drops the survivor, in which case you're now getting chased, and the person he dropped is still slugged. It's fun, but odds are you're not escaping because you're devoting so much time and effort to denying hooks. Same reason that flashlight squads tend to be ineffective as well.

Only time I ever really sabo is if I have a challenge or a daily. Most of the time it just isn't worth the trouble.

Similar experience. I've had a few try but only lost one hook due to sabo so far.

I got like five. Freaking annoying mechanic. I hate to slug.

Because Sabo is still bad. The only reason to run it is for dailies or to meme.

There are hooks everywhere. If you sabotage one, the killer goes right to the other, and the wiggle is a completely meaningless piece of garbage. As I said because hooks are everywhere! Even sabotage is completely pointless because they spawn immediately. 30 second? Hmm, these broken hooks ... I wonder who wears these hooks ...killer?

How many times it takes the hook to respawn now?

    I think it´s like 10 seconds.

i just played 1 Game since update, and this 1 Game i couldnt hook up anyone.... after 4th destroyed hook i dc´d and uninstalled the game again.

The apparently swf lobby had a lot of fun to destroy my expirience with their bullshit perks, and they managed to do it. Doesnt matter how much i tryharded, i had literally no chance so i quit again. Fortunately i got more Games so i dont really need dbd, i didnt even payd for the dlc, so i dont care.

Dang, it's almost as if sabo is still a gimmick and not some OP mechanic like a bunch of people were whining about.

The Tome's fundamentally have changed the game. More players try to work on their tome objective over playing the game strategically. Look at how people are taking protection hits, dropping pallets, chasing around the map to heal. It is no longer the same game. During the downtime between Tomes maybe we will see these squads.

I was running sabo yesterday while working on the protection hit challenge. No squad or anything, just doing it solo. Each time I was able to pull it off the killer would drop the person and chase me even though another hook wasn't that far away. A killer even facecamped me when I did it on one hook that game.

It doesn't feel worth it, running solo at least. You need to be pretty close when they are downed which means you're mostly being useless chasing after the killer. It also seems to anger killers quite a bit.

I have not seen a single one yet. Only saw 2 survivors running sabo and neither got a hook down. Fact is, sabo was nerfed, bot buffed. It only works if you have 4 man sabo team intent on killer, not gens.
