My post was removed and I don't know why?
Just a second ago I posted something on Feedback and Suggestions and was closely monitoring and refreshing the page constantly when it just disappeared. Vanished, as if I never even posted it. And yes, I hit post discussion. I remember looking at its activity seeing if it was getting views or comments. I also followed all the rules to the forums and made sure not to break any of them so it couldn't be that. I didn't delete the discussion either (if you can even do that).
why did my post just evaporate into thin air?
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this I have no idea where I would post something like this.

If you edited it, it might have to be re-approved by the mods. When you only have a few posts and or are fairly new, editing your post will sometimes cause it to be flagged and it will have to get approved by a mod. It happened to me when I first joined so if you give it a couple hours or so, it will probably randomly show up.

No worries. I was confused by the same thing when I first joined the forums and my posts would just disappear only to show up randomly later on. ^_^;

I was under the impression that mods usually send the poster a message when they delete a post explaining why they deleted it. The fact that they didn't in your case is odd.
If it was deleted for being in the wrong section, it shouldn't have been, it should have been moved. If it was deleted for breaking a rule, you should have received a warning of some sort from the moderator who deleted the post.
Aside from that, I'm stumped, sorry 😕 Everything I know about how moderation works on the forums would suggest that posts should not be disappearing without any explanation. Hopefully a mod will come along and be able to clear up the issue for you.
EDIT: I just refreshed and looked at the comments above. The editing thing hadn't occurred to me, but yes, that's almost certainly what happened. Glad you got it sorted!
