360's on console

So I have been playing for a few months now. And before dedicated servers, I felt like I was able to hit players who 360. But recently I have made it to rank 1 as killer, and I don't know if the survivors I am facing are better at it, or if the servers have made it harder. But I have missed over 30 of them tonight. Two things are happening that feels weird. First the survivors are so close and moving so fast sometimes they just disappear. Almost like there aren't enough frames to track their movement when they spin. For whatever reason this seems to be the most noticeable when I play doctor. And second, sometimes its almost like the game thinks they used "Dead Hard." Its hard to explain, but it is like they get a little bump forward and go from being right under my weapon to outside of arms reach within one frame. It looks super unnatural. Is anyone else dealing with this? Has anyone else figured out a way to counter it? It's hard enough to play at rank 1 for me without disappearing infinite dead-harding survivors. Pls halp.

it's a mix of auto-aim (but with a different name), slow controls on console killers, fast turning survivor speed and bhvr's un-dedicated servers. The only way you can get better at avoiding it is, wait a little bit before landing a hit, and try not to lunge, it seems that most of the times it doesn't happen when not lunging.

Just wait the 360. They will prob end in your front again and its an easy hit. I haven't played on console, only pc, but i see your struggle

Survivors move more rapidly on dedicated serves and killers already have a more limited range due to lower sensitivity on console. A lot of times you’re gonna look like an idiot missing swings simply because you can’t move as rapidly as the survivors can turn. It’s no fault of your own.

I try to turn with the survivor if they start to 360 me and wait for them to end it and then swing.

Man I thought it was only me being potato (still could be I guess lol) but yeah it’s been harder and I now have to just like try to stop moving to see them still spinning in circles to 360 me. Gets annoying pretty fast lol

If you can't follow them don't. Step back a little and hit them when they run back you. Framerate and ds is something we are gonna have to deal with, since devs made it pretty clear they are not gonna do anything about it
