Why was Gearhead nerfed?
It seemed like it was going to be an OK perk to use, but now you might as well run discordance. it wasn't even close to being op before and was could be countered and yet got nerfed hard. I'm hoping a dev could maybe give some info on this decision

It was a pretty bleh perk to begin with because it relied too heavily on rng to get a skillcheck, now survivors have a way of countering a perk without even knowing it, imagine if every time you picked up a survivor with thrilling, they got a skillcheck, and if they hit a great it wouldn't activate. That's the logic this perk is using now, on top of the fact that you need to have good rng for them to get a skillcheck in the first place, and a now reduced activation time. Why they nerfed it boggles my mind, and I really hope they undo the changes, as while I've loved the new killers and maps in these past few updates, they have been severely lacking on the perk side of things, and the meta hasn't been changed in about a year.

Nobody knows devs reasoning.
They also spend extra time buffing doc again while he was in a good place already, added useless addition to trapper and ignored all other killers powers and addons that do absolutely nothing or don't work like ghostface addons, leatherface addons and so on.
I'd imagine they have a jira for tracking things to do and they also have lazy devs working on them as they pick up easiest things to implement every time. Then they generate enough errors so that next week after that can be spend only on fixing those.

Their killer perks have been so lack luster lately. They have to be so situational in order to be useful or are only useful with other perks
