Afk as killer, bannable?

Hey, is it bannable if you start a match, go in a corner with wraith or just be afk with any killer till the game ends?

I saw some people doing this to earn xp easily, and i was wondering if is it bannable.

I'm honestly not sure about this. I occasionally do this if I completely give up in a game, but if youre doing it for Xp it may be bannable.

While it can ne really anoying for survivors, I don't believe that being afk is bannable.

How about this: I stay in a corner or the basement, and do nothing, not even move, and wait. And then, if a survivor comes close, because he thinks me afk, i just down and camp him. so i am clearly not afk, but setting a trap. Is this bannable? Also, if i start playing the game, and see i am clearly outmatched again by bad matchmaking, and i go stand in a corner then, is that bannable? i mean i cant hooksuicide, thats the only option i got then, right?

Or If someone has to step away for something and doesnt want to deny them points as well as the game. Things happen. Better than a DC.

No, since you're not holding the game hostage.

Nope - There will always be a decent number of afk Wraiths as each Rift ends.

Nope. You can do anything you want, except have trouble with your internet or crashes. Only those are bannable.

No of course it isn't bannable, why would it be? Same reason standing right in front of your totem all game isn't bannable, you aren't cheating, you're not exploiting, you're not disconnecting, you just aren't playing properly or at all.

Yes, going AFK is one of the examples given for bannable offenses when reporting someone, I'm pretty sure it's unsportsmanlike behavior.

If I play half a match but have something happen irl (rare event), I run to a corner and afk so I don’t screw the survivors out of their points. Is that the right way to do it or should I just dc?

If you do it consistently without participating in a game at all you may perhaps get a ban in your face.

Afk itself is banable. At red rank you can even depip for an afk killer.

The report section that you must use tells as example AFKing.

The thing is you can afk and play, if that makes sense... Bubba with insidious NOED BW and wait for survivors in the basement. If one goes for chest you’re gold, otherwise you lose

If im standing afk in front of a gate and when someone just comes to open it, i down him with noed. It's just a tactic to get a kill, i don't stay afk completely
