Horror Movie Stereotypes
If the non-crossover characters of Dead By Daylight were in a horror movie, who would fulfil what cliché? Who would be the one who dies first? Who would be the last survivor? Thoughts?

I think Kate would be the final girl

Adam unfortunately would probably be the first one to die because he’s bl

This just made me realize dbd doesn't have a prototypical stoner dude

I mean, quentin is addicted to adrenaline, Claudette's all about those herbs, Ace has probably smoked his fair share of doobies at the casinos, Nea looks like a meth addict, and Bill won't stop smoking that cigarrette even when he's getting shot through the mouth, so... I think between all of them, we have the equivalent of one stoner, right?

David would literally be "that guy" and try to fight the killer. He'd die pretty quickly. Or incapacitate on of the Legion, most likely Julie or Suzie but almost certainly not Joey.
Claudette would be later on the kill list, but not final girl. She's too smart for the typical slasher style of movie to live.
Jake and Nea would get killed off after going out for supplies or trying to get out and find some cops or anyone like that.

Yep, she is the "Hopeful Songbird" after all.

Game mechanics shouldn't exactly be an excuse for certain elements being lore. They are also being looked at with the Entity's Realm within the context of the game.
So, remove everything to do with the Entity, and then we have a fair way of looking at this topic.

Either Kate or Zarina.
Poor Nea would either have a gruesome death or off-screen death.
Claudette is like the second last to die.
Meg would be the one to die before the opening credits.

Recent events have sucked the concepts of "joy" and "humour" from me. This stupid COVID-19 thing is shutting down all of my hobbies except video games, and the Aus population finally decided that alcohol was a good item to stock up on, and I work in liquor retail. Joy for me.

Dwight: the guy who tries to take a stand, and fails miserably.
Meg: the athlete who lasts a bit, but gets caught off guard and does a die
Claudette: the nerd who lasts a while but ultimately dies near the end
Jake: the sensible guy who dies early on because the writers didn't want his character to triumph, but didn't want him to change halfway through
Nea: lets be honest dude she on lots of weed
Ace: he's the cocky guy who dies from his cockiness
Feng: honestly not sure
David: the Jock. similar to the athlete, but instead of running away he tries to punch a dude with a weapon
Kate: final girl. she looks the part, and could certainly hold her own
Adam: another nerd but mostly there to die at the start because someone has to.
Jeff: the hippie. looks like one, and is real into art, which is quite the stereotype.
Jane: the one who told everyone to go to the haunted lake for her news story or blog or whatever
Yui: there for the female empowerment thing so they don't get attacked on twitter.
Zarnia: could be a side character like a friend of Jane or the stand in for the sequel because they need a sequel
And I'll do three killers too, why not
Trapper: standard slasher. for when ya need a quick buck, but don't wanna put effort in the killer so you draw a mask, give him a machete like weapon, and make him kill some teens.
Hag: the monster thats more like an animal than a murderer, and is revealed to be a species at the end. like the Leprechaun origins Lep.
Spirit: the ghost that was awakened by the survivors and who wants to kill because of revenge. or in other words, The Grudge.

Meg- Alpha b*tch- This tends to be the female version of the rival archetype. They are usually incredibly antagonistic to the main characters and are often considered the secondary antagonist after the Killer. Whether or not they make up with the main characters they often die near the end with some exceptions. Example Melissa Paur: Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood.
(Jake,Dwight,Jane) Meat Sacks- these guys are usually just there today and pad out the body count you'll often get names and vague hints of a trait but ultimately they die throughout the film to pad out the count. No example needed
Nea -Opening Kill- Usually the first kill to establish the threat. Whether their death triggers much motion in the plot tends to fluctuate but usually them in purposes to show the killer is a threat. Example Shelley: Valentine
Zarnia/Ace- non-believer or doubters- These people are usually characters that the victims go to for help they usually don't believe them and in an effort to prove that there's nothing to worry about usually in the getting themselves killed. Example Elsa Shivers: I Know What You Did Last Summer
David- Jock/Douche- usually the male equivalent of the rival. They are often very aggressive and usually deal with their problems with violence typically they tried to take on the killer more because of ego than sacrifice and end up dying as a result.( if there's no main slasher killer they are usually killed through arrogance or the main characters turning on them) Carter: Final Destination
Adam- Nerd/ common sense- These characters are usually the smartest and the one's with common sense. They often die early because you can't usually have someone of common sense live. (be careful when making this type of character they can very easily transition from being the one with common sense to the one that gets very annoying with how much they poke out the horror meta yet still fall for it).
Jeff- red herring - usually a person with something off-putting about them everyone usually thinks that they're the suspicious one they often get proven innocent after they are murdered or found dead. Eve: black Christmas
Yui- Sacrifice - usually the strong character often end up sacrificing themselves for the main character or other people if it's other people they usually ask the main character to keep them safe. Betty: Resident Evil
Feng Min- Unlikely Friend- this character is usually someone who is either on neutral terms or not good terms with the main characters throughout the course of the movie they often become close of the main character usually among the two or three survivors if it's not a solo survivor movie. Gale: Scream
Claudette- best friend- usually super close to the main character the survival rating is very hard to predict either they will be revenge fuel for the main character to win against the Killer they managed to live alongside the Unlikely friend. Beth: The descent
Kate- Final girl/ Hero- strong knows how to fight back and can inspire hope within her friends. Yui is probably the only person I say could contest this role but she does fit the sacrifice role better. Sally Hardesty: Texas chainsaw

If it's a Jordan Peele film then Adam would live.

lol We are using or imagination here. Get over the "Survivors are OP and Killers are to weak" discussion and just have fun. =)
Sorry I did not see you say it was a joke. lol
I did however see another post where you pretty much complain how easy survivor is so I do not think you are joking but just trying to complain in more places then one once again about how easy survivors have it and how OP they are.
"just had a match where 3 outta 4 escaped through a hatch; this crap is freaking sad. it wasnt even end-game either. i really gotta ask what drives people to play a mode like that. the hand-holding and catering is gross. gen times are trash, like i hate this stupid word but i have to say it- bruh....."
"no forreal, whens survivor gonna actually take skill to play and not be so scrubby? im listening."

I love Zarina so I would hope for her but Kate is a nice pick as well. =)

Pretty much every single non-licensed survivor is based off one type of final girl or other (even David, who may seem the like the jock ***hole but is really the face-turn surprise hero), so safe to say they'd all survive. That is why they're survivors after all. :P

Kate would definitely be the final girl. The stereotype fits her character really well, she's full of significant hope too.
