Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Trapper can completely shut down loops by placing traps in certain areas, after a slow start has an amazing mid to end game. As long as he convinces survivors to go to loops near trapeze he works.

Wraith can be deadly especially in an anti healing meta. Has a great start, but struggles getting the killer blow being a basic M1 killer in the chase.

Both are great at their own thing.

I'm gonna go with Trapper on this one. Both can get a lot stronger with add-ons. Trapper is really good at negating loops, while Wraith is great at gen patrolling and tracking injured survivors. Likewise, Trapper doesn't have good map pressure, and Wraith can get hard looped even if he gets a first hit. All in all, I see the Trapper doing slightly better than the Wraith in terms of defending gens + killing survivors.

Wraith with correct add-ons and perks has alot more potential and depth imo.

Trapper is also a set-up killer which is also quite bad.

Wraith is adorable and can snowball very fast if he plays his cards right.

Both Trapper and Wraith have their upsides and downsides. I particularly think both are good in their own ways.
