I would Love to see the thing in dbd... Maybe it could turn into a survivor and pretend to be one as a stealth option and there could be a secondary option "infection" and it would work the same way like the pig puts that reversed bear trap and you must get a injection from a machine to cure it... I don't know it could be anything.
