Guess I won't complete this rift

So I had every intention old completing this rift as well as the challenges. Life happens and i fell behind. Need 59 shards. Have 51 of i can complete challenges. But im absolutely stuck.

Green rank killer. Trying for the 3 malicious emblems. Been Trying for a week. I either do well and deal with suicides or disconnects preventing me from getting the necessary number of hooks, or I get matched up with red ranks that run me for the whole game.

Or unhook 4 in one game. Either I tank the game and follow the killer around and die or I play normal and can't get to hook in time before someone else gets there. I play normal because I don't want to screw my team over.

Protection hits. I get 1 then tunneled to death.

I get they are called challenges but they make me want to bash my head against a wall.

I play solo so I know that has something to do with it but I had an easier time doing the 4 gen dark sense challenge. (2 tries)

Story for the range. Just frustrated

Well, some general help for those specific challenges

first off the malicious one. Easiest way is use a killer who gets hits easy, as thats important one, so killers like billy, bubba, plague etc get robbed of the emblem because they get less hits, whilst killers like legion and wraith gets tons of easy hits.

As for those survivor ones, the 4 unhooks one is an ass yes, but kindred and borrowed time do wonders, and even saboteur helps as it gives you a good idea which hook the killer will go for. Yeah you won't be on gens but thems the brakes.

And the protection hit one is very easy, just get hit whilst the killer is carrying someone, then just book it out if the area and heal up. Rinse repeat, bring a method of healing (SC, IS, medkits etc.) and empathy so you know where/when the kler fowns people before its too late to reposition yourself

They're challenging for a reason, the clues in the hame challenges but i do wish you the best of luck with them

Malicious Emblems - Play Legion if you have him. If not, then make sure you use a killer who hits twice and doesn't use insta-downs. Make sure to hook everyone multiple times.

Unhook 4 in one game - Kindred + Borrowed Time + Empathy + A perk of your choice. Whenever the killer downs someone, start making your way toward them. Wait for the killer to leave, unhook, and repeat 3 more times. Sometimes this one can be difficult to get because the killer doesn't hook enough people. But you'll get it eventually. Empathy should help you know where people are when they're about to go down. You could use sprint burst to make sure you get to the unhook first.

Protection Hits - Bring a med-kit. Also bring empathy and kindred. Whenever the killer picks someone up, run straight for them, force the hit, and then get out of there. Not really that hard to get. I was fortunate to get 10 in like one game because of a Deathslinger that decided to farm with us. He was just having a lot of fun trying out the harpoon. You could also use inner strength if you have it, and use that to heal after taking a hit.
