Have SWFs bought off BHVR?
Virtually everyone from tryhard Claudettes on 3rd party comms to chilled friends realise they have an advantage over solo survivors yet BHVR refuse to do anything to balance the game.
BHVR have mentioned the 2nd of sometime in the future to buff solo survivors to somewhere near SWF levels.
Why isn't there an urgency to this?
I can only think of one thing in that they are catering for the money brought in by SWF.
SWFs are a mixture of solo and killers so predicting this is a fallacy.
BHVR remain quiet and seem to want to hide information, are they lazy?, understaffed?, do they think SWFs provide their bread and butter? for the life of me I can't understand why they make changes to killers/perks/addons in the name of balance but ignore the huge imbalance in SWFs!

Yes all you have to do is say remove swf and see the flood of people say thebgame will die or they will quit thier hold the devs hostage to keep thier advantage and what confuses me i the devs refuse to balance the game around swf with comms they fought putting swf in the game because they knew it wasn't designed for it and sure enough swf and comms became a problem killers and solo survivors have been begging for a fix but they wont do anything about it give all survivors comms and buff killers to match the coordination

And the annoying irony is that they won't give bloodpoint progression (even reduced) to KYF which is playing with your friends without a victim of massive imbalance.

The reality is that, the reason they don't do anything about the "SWF Problem" is because it's not really that big of a problem. Not every SWF you see is a coordinated depip squad, it's usually just people casually playing with friends, and BHVR has publicly available stats to back that up. 4 man SWF groups only survive 9% more than a solo survivor on average. If you think you're getting destroyed by coordinated SWFs every game, the problem is likely just you.

It doesn't have to squad team 6 sometimes just basic info can completely destroy a killer like killer chasing me by x i see a totem or trap over by x or killer chasing me and thats not me saying swf survivors go into every match trying to give info but even goofing off talking about non game related stuff you will slip up and give info its human nature

No, but they did make it so that, in a custom game, you have literally everything available to you with every character.

The reality is that SWFs as mentioned whether chilled or higher tempo'd are at an advantage over solo survivors and killers.
When I play SWF I play to win as survivor whether I'm goofing around or not and being the only survivor with a 3 SWF is an advantage and disadvantage as when that NoED kicks in and all 3 are at the gate...
Personally I believe SWFs are made of players that play the game but BHVR believe it is them that pay their wages so don't do anything.

Well, i would argue if he gets destroyed every game, no matter what he thinks about it, the problem is not him, but a matchmaking that obviously continiously paires him with opponents above his skill level.
Why do you think he is to blame for that?

I really can't make it more simple than that, I honestly believe there are people in this forum who do nothing but try and divert the topic of conversation.
BHVR have failed and continue to fail to balance the game yet make changes to the perks/killers/addons in the name of balance.

I wouldn't disagree. But OP isn't commenting on the quality of matchmaking, they're blaming SWF for losses. While he may be against better players because of ######### matchmaking, at the end of the day he's still losing because they players are better, not because SWF is an instant win button.

Put a player in an SWF with their peers and they will do better than if they were to play solo.
I'm not sure why people are talking about matchmaking, SWFs bread and butter, SWFs causing losses, getting better, instant wins?
BHVR applied nothing to help bridge the gap with this advantage, making me ask the question... why?

Hi @toxcitynacl you probably play the game solo as killer and survivor as well. I can only think that BHVR have bought into the idea that SWFs can't be touched as they bring in most income for their company, why else would they leave this huge imbalance in our game?

If you know how to play the game, you don't feel like you have an "advantage" in SWF. Why? Because this game doesn't guarantee that comms will gain you skill. You can be saved at the wrong time while on comms whereas you could be saved the right way while playing solo.
That title seems kind of gringe when you consider that many of the people who still enjoy this game are killer mains. Yes of course, excluding the handful of people on the forums.

Not really. Maybe not to the degree that OP states, but we all know the survivor playerbase is larger than the killer. They fork over more money. There is a portion of that playerbase that plays because they can play with their friends. Remove that, and they may leave, taking their cash with them. In that regard, then, yes, OP can, at least to a degree, be correct.
