The world is in quarantine and bhvr fixes matchmaking.
No longer are my survivor queues on PS4 10+ minutes long. But, clearly, I am being matched way below my skill level. I don't mind the brain dead survivors because I'm no longer falling asleep while trying to get into a game.
Did the new skill based matchmaking go live? What will it take to get some good teammates? Most games have something to indicate self progression but dbd let's you sweat it out and hold your breath hoping your matches don't deflate within seconds.

New MMR is not live yet, as far as we are aware. The reason for shorter queues is exactly that - a lot of people are stuck in their homes right now, and they have time to play.
In your example, there are not enough high ranks players playing the game. That is why the pool from which the game picks doubles, and throws lower ranks into your games, so you don't have to wait too long.

imo there is just more killers because of 1,5x bp and killer is always getting more bp + bbq i easier to get than we're gonna live forever
