No More letting the last one escape (edit: i will let actually)
So, i let the last one open the gates and he tbagged me at the exit. That was the last bit of my kindness as killer, letting the last one escape after playing harshly. Now, idk... let me get aways that 4k, eventough that will add no more BP to my already capped scores.
And thats that. Toxic players make things worse for all survivors. First, i stopped to be nice so i dont care anymore about exit tbagging - there is no moral attachment. Now, one step further, no more free 5K BP to the last one.
I am OK with it. I just wanted to share this.
Edit: i overreacted.

He may have been saying "thank you".
Many Survivors T-Bag to say thanks. I don't, but many do, since our range of actions are limited. This wouldn't be the first time a "thanks" was taken negatively in this game.

You are over reacting.. Everytime when a killer let me escape, i get near him, tbag and then leave. It's my way of saying "thank you :3" or "byebye"

Yeah, i know about tbag to tks. But in this situation i think he didnt get i let him open the gates, so there was no tks. At least it looked like that to me...
So, or there was a tks or there was a tbag cause he didnt understood. So, was not that big ingratitude... nice to think about it.
I will get back to let the last escape sometimes. It makes me feel good. And spread some love also. :D

i know survivors that teabag as a greeting when they meet other survivors, or to thank them. So it might just have been that.

Here is how I see it.
I'll let them escape if they had a phenomenal game and were held back by a poor team.
If their team dc on them they'll get a free escape.
If I'm playing Pig ( which is rare ) and they boop my snoot.

Greetings and thanks are just 1 or 2 Ctrl taps. Tbags are way more often. But it is better to just nod your head when you wanna say thank you

Yeah, it's important to remember that teabags/emotes or a Killer nodding/shaking their head is not always a sign of disrespect! It's easy to see the worst in people, but most of the time no salt is meant by it.
A lot of the time when I nod my head I'm often saying "Hey, that was cheeky of you!" or "I see you over there", not whatever some players with saltier minds might assume.

tbh as killer i sometimes let the last person go normally if the other survs were bad/if people dced. or if they were just really good and i think they deserved it. it also gives a maybe one day the favour will be returned.
as survivor ive seen similar normally id do the "come here" motion to say goodbye. i really think they should add two more emotes. like a wave and maybe like a shhhing thing im not quite sure.
kinda related i had a spirit that i thought was just letting me go but it was a rancor, let the other person go since it was 2 alve 2 dead. funniest ######### thats happened to me in a while. i love killers that let you farm some before killing you.

As killer, when I can afford to do so, I always spare the weak link in the team. God, when matchmaking bugs, and puts a rank 20 baby Dwight in a sweaty rank 1 match, Dwight gets a free pass from me.
As survivor, if I dont have any stake in escaping (meme builds, or messing around with friends) Ill let the killer just kill me if they had a rough match. Its the decent thing to do.

lemme check my notes lets see. i faced the same person 5 times in a row and one of them i was last person and hatch got closed i offered my item before he got to me and he let me open gate and leave. either next or previous game same person let me farm some pallet stuns before killing me. idrc about surviving i just care about bps. since its really hard getting max in every cat as surv.
i dont really note my killer games. just my surv ones to see killer ranks and killer percentages. ironically same guy had played like 4 different killers across those games xD

I let the last survivor go based on how I’m doing points-wise. If I maxed out deviousness, I usually let them go. I’d rather lose on 500~ sacrifice points to gift 7000~ in survival and objective. If I’m at 6000 or less deviousness, well I need the points.
