Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

So let’s talk about black incense and redheads pinky finger(Ik, Ik such a cliche title)

So I love these addons and I think they are in a perfect place right now what is your opinion because I have my opinions:

Black incense: amazing add-on and forces survivors to cleanse, every time I have used this add-on I have achieved a 3K or 4K because it is amazing

Redhead’s pinky finger: I really like this add-on because it gives clown some life and potential, now if this was base kit from 8 meters away or further, I’d be drooling over it.

so what are your opinions on these two add-ons?

Black Incense is a really cool and quite fair addon.

Redhead’s pinky finger however feels quite unfair just like iridescent head from huntress but he is able to get up to 6 bottles and can reload whenever he wants. You just have to get close and spam the bottles and get the down.

It should decrease the amount of bottles by 2 and only give exposed when you hit the bottle from a certain distance.

That way this Addon would be much more fair.

But you actually have to hit your target with the bottle itself which is harder to do than Huntress's hatchet.

I honestly receive more salt from running Exhaustion add on than pinky finger.

That's why i would suggest a short minimum distance to get the exposed status.

Maybe you can apply the same distance for the exhaustion as well.

Considering that denying survivors their exhaustion perk is quite a powerful advantage.

For me plagues always seem to be running Black Incense and I never knew they had it until the match ended. Pinky Finger is fine.

As someone else already said, Black Incense is the last good ultra rare add-ons devs made.

Redhead's Pinky Finger is very well balanced add-on and is an example of how Ultra-Rare add-ons should work like. It rewards skillful plays and still lets survivors avoid the penalties if they are skilled enough too.

Black Incense, however, rewards basic gameplay tactics too generously. As Plague you get survivors sick every game and it's trivially easy hard to do. The reward is aura reading for the whole duration of survivor's sickness. You see them the whole time. There is no mindgame or stealth option for them available at any time possible. It's way too strong and should get nerfed. Clown needs to aim precisely with his small hitbox bottles, Plague needs to do nothing unusual. Imagine if Redhead's Pinky Finger would work if survivor would just be touched by the gas from the bottle. That would be unavoidable and OP, just like Black Incense's effect is.

Both Add-on's are fine. No body complains about Tombstone or Tombstone piece. Its all in how the Killer Uses them. Pinky Finger requires accuracy to hit the survivor and allow you to hit them before the hindered penalty is up with out them making it to a window or pallet.

Pinky Finger is good. It’s fun to use but requires some skill so it’s not an “I win” add on. Survivors who pay attention can play around it and it makes chases tense.

Black Incense, on the other hand, is kind of busted in my opinion. The only reason I think nobody complains about it is because nobody plays Plague so they never see it. Every time I’ve run this add on I’ve felt a bit dirty for it, and that was before Plague got her recent corrupted pool buff.
