Are there plans to increase the quality of animations?

Like when you heal another person make them actually touch them and use bandaids etc. or make survivors pick up screwdrivers which are laying at gens when you start working on them? Some nice visual touchtes woulnd't hurt the immersion :)

For healing, that's a lot of separate animations to have Character "A" be able to touch Character's "A"-"Z". I assume you just want the hands to touch the other model, however with so many body types that would require more animations than the one that's currently used. Plus the animations that would be needed to heal a survivor on the ground then switch to the normal healing animation. Also, since this is primarily a multiplayer game the animations have a good chance of never lining up properly and would have alot more clipping. It's better having the the action being conveyed over immersion, considering how frantic DBD can be, also the general rule of smaller files the better.

This is before getting into the complete work load and tweaking that additional animations would need and the possibility of animations requiring additional assets would also possibly cause a delay between starting an actions progress and stopping it as a discussion point of game balance.

It might seem ridiculous to argue against such a thing that's as inconsequential as extra animation set's, but such a change would be much larger than considered. It's easier if Character's "A" - "Z" share the same animations where possible and the least amount of animations possibly to not slow down workflow of new or existing content.
