Discount for characters with shards if you already own any of their perks from shrine

I don't know if this has been ever discussed before but with the introduction of the tomes and the specific killer/survivor challenges I think this should be look in to. From the PTB it seems the new killer challenges will be for Huntress and the Legion. And while the Huntress is free the Legion is from DLC. Even though I don't like the killer at all I thought about buying it but my problem is I own all her pekrs already and yet I have to pay 9k shards again. I find this really unfair. I've spend min 6k shards already and now if I want to have fun just for the challenges I'll have to spent 9k more for a killer I will never use again. Ofc I may not buy her at all but isn't it better for the game to support these kind of things /same way we are spammed to do killer rituals even though we play survivor mostly for example/?

    This is one of those features that makes perfect sense, that you might see in any other game, that there's very little reason for it to not already exist, and yet... Who knows when BHVR will finally get around to it?

    Keeping characters at the same price when you already have all of their perks as when you don't is a waste when you consider that the best reason to unlock a character at that point is to actually play them. And that generally goes hand-in-hand with liking, or starting to like, the character enough to buy cosmetics.

    You know what. This idea sounds simple but genius. Since one of the reasons to get a character is for their perks but if you already have them. Well all that is left is for playing the character themselves. Sounds like a great idea to give a discount, if they already brought the perks, to get them to play more or spend these shards to get the character and try out something new.
