Thanatophobia is Legion's worst perk

Legion's entire kit is designed around being a hit and run Killer. In normal gameplay, Survivors will stay injured for long amounts of time and only heal when it starts to get a little desperate because they know how easy it is to get hit with Frenzy. Basically, you invest in hits early game and are rewarded with quick chases later on.

Thanatophobia all the sudden creates an incentive to heal, which you can undo with your power... sure. But Legion needs to get downs at some point and time isn't really on your side. Basically, thanatophobia just traps you in a cycle where you constantly have to use your power to get people injured and because of that you have to commit to long chases and downs take longer. 16% slowdown doesn't make up for 50% longer chases because people heal more

Thanato is not a very good stalling perk anyways...

Yeah thanatophobia is a pretty meh perk in general, but no matter what it is, there is still always worse perks, eg monstrous shrine, mindbreaker

A good legion build in this case? I was using thana, pop, nurses and discrodance.

Nothing forces you to use your power as often as possible. If you need to down, go for that. Still a stack and Thana slows down healing as well. Despite that, Thana has great synergy with the Broken addon. And if people actually heal, you get your slowdown anyway. 18 seconds of healing is 18 seconds less gen progress. And just think of those Selfcare guys :P

This is like saying that Monitor and Abuse is bad on a Deathslinger. It's not the best perk to run on them and the top builds won't run it, but it's a comfort pick that'll be good for a beginner to the killer.

Besides, with how Legion's power works, you'll get at least Ruthless every game unless you're a full-blown potato.

If thanatophobia made sure every survivor healed EVERY legion would run it all the time. You realise wasting time through healing is a GOOD thing for killers? It's less time survivors spend on gens.

I disagree, Thanatophobia creates a win-win situation for Legion since injured survivor make things slower but those who heal waste their time given how easy is to be injured by Legion. Besides, an injured survivor can still loop for a good amount of time and high rank survivors know it, Thanatophobia makes sure that if they decide to rush the gens they are not fully efficient.
