question about bodyblocking

i am under the impression that body blocking the killer as survivor when they are carrying another survivor and blocking a hook to the point the survivor escapes it yes toxic but aloud even if you dont have the perk Were Gonna Live Forever which gives you points if he hits you. as well as saying something like "gg ez would bodyblock again" if he tunneled another survivor the entire game after he couldnt catch me when i kept looping around since he kept shocking me (he was the doctor) and i would 360 whenever he got close to the point that he let me alone. he could of easily hit me into the dying state when i bodyblocked but let me keep blocking. and also saying something like "gg ez would bodyblock again" after the game and be toxic since he tunneled the girl the entire game and yes we all escaped. i mean camping is aloud for killer and they will message me after game saying stuff like "noob survivor get owned" which i assume is aloud.

Bodyblocking is not toxic if it's meant to give more time to the survivor being carried.
    PS: allowed*

Well this post just showed your true character . As i thought it was. Your type of behaviour is why "survivor mains" are ridiculed by "killer mains"(even tho they play both sides)

I love how you just casually admit that you were acting like a jerk to the killer just because you didn't like the way he played. I honestly can't stand people like you, try to be nice for once in your life, no need to treat people like garbage.

i was acting like a jerk to a jerk

i play both sides and i always get a 4k and sometimes a 3k without tunneling or camping i just hook one survivor and go to the next and end up killing the mall unless one of them has the hatch. i play leatherface with BBQ, Franklins, Agitation, and NOED since i havent worked on any other killers those are the best perks i have IMO. when you tunnel one survivor the entire match instead of just hooking and going to the next you end up with 1 to no kills but if you would just go kill survivors you would almost always get 4-3 kills. i am usually around rank 7 on Xbox as killer.

Tunneling is a viable strategy, it stinks as survivor but makes total sense as a killer. Now if the killer is a jerk block...

i agree the killer can tunnel but does it matter if i bodyblock or not is the main point of this cause i went against a killer that said he reported me for bodyblocking in-game and i was confused cause i thought it was 100% aloud.

Dude, it is 100% allowed. That was just an extremely salty killer. It really sucks to be bodyblocked, but it's also lowkey kinda funny and also viable.

From what I gather body blocking is allowed.

well thanks for reassuring me lol i was injured and he kept swinging but didn't hit me for some reason he kept turning around until she wiggled off he could of easily hit me into the dying state and still hooked her.

People like you care so much how other people think about you. Just play the game and that is just a game mechanic so of course bodyblocking is ok..

I mean the body is there for a reason to block you. Unless you want to run through survivors like ghost than lets implement that great idea into this game....

Bodyblocking a killer who is carrying a survivor is okay. Survivors do it in horror movies sometimes, and there is a perk built specifically for it. It’s a game mechanic to sacrifice some of your health to help your fellow survivor escape. If the entire group does it, that pisses me off as a killer. But in general I think it’s an acceptable tactic since it can make it so the killer can injure you and even put you in the dying state.

I actually feel like it’s a little thematic sometimes :D

well the only problem i have with camping is that if you didnt camp you would get more kills. just focus on hooking one survivor to the next and usually by the time the other guy i hooked is saved i have another hooked. im usually around rank 7 as killer

Body blocking is fine. It's one of the few times I'm okay with a survivor escaping.

When you are playing against a SWF and are trying to get at least one kill, yet the whole team runs during the chase between you and your victim all the time, forcing you to hit them just that they can all speed away again, then we can talk again about bodyblocking not being toxic.

    Sure it is allowed though.

Can you please stream/load up videos, Ive never seen a killer doing so well against competent survivors with a non-nurse and I want to learn from you.

Oh wait, rank 7 console, leatherface.... nvm

If they tapspam the flashlight and tbag while in the process, yeah, it's toxic. But as you can see above even killer mains are okay with this tactic. A full group blocking you doesnt happen as often as you make it sound anyway.

As a killer, I’m fine with bodyblocking as a tactic (if it’s done tastefully). Does it irritate me….sure, do I report it…NO.

My main goal is to kill you, your main goal is to survive. As long as both parties are playing respectfully it makes the game so much more intense and enjoyable for all.
