How to destroy basement Hag traps?
So in my 500 hours of playing so far, I've never been in a situation where I actually have a flashlight against the Hag specifically in the basement. She placed a trap on the square piece of flooring at the bottom of the long segment of stairs (where it makes you turn) and I used up all of my flashlight trying to destroy it. It seemed like I couldn't aim down far enough to be able to point directly at the trap, even from various distances.
Is this supposed to be a thing? Or was I missing something?

Crouch until you're on the same level and then use the flashlight instead of trying to flashlight it while standing on stairs?

The thing is to destroy the trap with distance, so crouch could be unnecessary.

If it can't be destroyed at a distance crouching becomes necessary.
Adapt.

This is such a facepalm moment. I think I was so intent on destroying the trap that I momentarily forgot I could crouch through it. My question still remains though.

If you don't have a flashlight, crouch and get adapted. If you have a flashlight, but the game is so bad done that it won't let you turn the canera more don't, get adapted.
At the end, all the arguments have to end in get adapted because of the bad design of the game?

Ask yourself this question.
You as a player, can you actually change the coding of the game to change this situation? Then by all means please do.
If you can't, there's nothing else you can do except adapt your tactic and playstyle to account for this bad design or coded situation and get through it successfully with your own skill and ingenuity.
I'm not giving you a generic troll answer, I'm literally telling you to find a way to deal with the situation you're facing with the tools you have available since you can't change the code of the game yourself.
That is what it means to adapt.

The same can be said with infinites, a bad game design beneficiant for one role, and instead of using bamboozle and "adapt" in all the matches, all the people here came asking for them to be nerfed, made it to get what they wanted, not adapting and ask the devs to change it.
Just like the author of this discussiom

Is being unable to disable a trap from a high vantage such a bad design flaw that it needs to be complained about in general instead of being reported as a bug or suggestion?
The degree of importance between the two situations are greatly different.
Also, yes the same can be said for all the situations you've mentioned but they impact matches to a much greater degree than the situation mentioned in this thread and warranted the cries for change.
This is a very simple situation that has a very simple solution.
It's your and the OP's choice to ignore this fact.
I'm done, enjoy replying to your hearts content.

Wait until she's busy carrying someone, or out of range (hard post-buff).

As I said in a previous comment, I had a facepalm moment about the crouching, so I'm not ignoring anything as I had previously acknowledged and accepted an answer.
I also don't consider this to be a bug, hence: general.
