Opinions on which stalker boi is more fun/viable

Been playing dbd a while, and finally decided that with a play station sale going on that I would like to purchase a DLC killer. I've currently nailed it down to two, and both fit my old school killer stalk your prey play style, of course I'm talking about Myers and Ghost face. I personally don't enjoy the wraith, so he's outta the question from my own opinion. I just thought I'd come here to see what people think, possibly draw up a little friendly debate between survivor and killer players alike. I know of all the various builds for both, eg tombstone Myers, infinite T3 Myers, XXXL spooky boi ghost face etc.

So I'm curious, who do you guys think is more fun, and who do you think is more viable? I love both killers I've been a fan of slashers for along long time but can't decide. Don't want any arguing just some nice general opinions, don't care what your rank is (^:p

Myers has much more snowball potential, but a weak early game. You get someone on the 2nd hook with myers and have a hair bow? You can freely camp them to dead. No other killer in the game has an instakill like myers, though dedicated server can make it tricky to pull off since dedicated grabs are finicky. His add-ons are way stronger than ghostface. I mained myers 2-3 years ago specifically because he gets triple the mori's of any other killer.

But ghostface is consistent throughout the entire match. He can pull off cheese myers cannot dream of.

Wraith is honestly stronger than ghostface when it comes to stealth attacks. Windstorm is a very strong add-on.

Ghostface is the best of the stalky bois as he is literally just the best parts of Myers with none of the downsides.

Wraith is imo the most fun of them(He gets stalking points so it totally counts i swear)

Michael because he's the meme king but he can switch it up so hard even with ######### add ons its not funny. That way you're not locked into one play style all game all game and suffer when you can switch it up anytime.

I play Ghostface a lot and those early game grabs can make a huge difference. I run devour hope and those one hits are very powerful.@Kyari were Myers can be good too. But Myers is stuck at a slow movement speed till tier 2 and good players can drag this out. Also Myers loses his aura read blocking after tier 1 and ooo will be your bane. Ghostface can block it with his power. Also dying and hook people knock him out of his power. Both are fun but I enjoy Ghostface with stbfl, nurses calling, thana and whispers .

Both are fun, but Ghostface will is a better stealth killer, and has better teachables.

If you actually like stalking people, go Myers. If you just wanna be invisible and run up on someone without them realizing it, play Ghostface.

Ghostface for me is more fluid, but Myers with things like Scratched Mirror or Tombstone piece is more fun. Just my two cents.

    Ghostface because tbagging.

But I've actually been playing them both recently, and I've really come to love Ghostface! He can just be a little sneakier than Myers because he can crouch, so he may be harder to spot across the map than Myers. I also like that his power is very "mark this guy, kill him" over and over, so unless I fail at the chase of a marked person, I don't feel like I'm wasting the instadown, whereas as Myers I've gotten to T3 off one person, gotten that person, but then not been able to get others during the T3 duration. And I definitely feel like I get into the game faster as Ghostface because Myers' power is based off multiple survivors, so I actually have to find multiple people to make good use of it.

Also how can you say no to the selfie mori??

I find GF to be more fun because of no terror radius. Even if you don't/can't stalk people, hiding your TR gives a big advantage. You can often sneak up on people close enough to get a hit before they run. He isn't slowed for being in stealth and he can mark people pretty quick if he is leaning. You can 99% someone, go after somebody else, run into them again. Go stealth and expose them before they can reveal you.

Myers has more snowball potential and less counters but he no longer has stealth play. He is too slow in EW1. EW2+m&a can make your TR very small but still there. You can't kick Myers out of stalk but there's a set amount you can stalk from each survivor. You pop EW3 and people tend to hide till the theme song goes away.

I find jump scares to be fun so I vote GF.

id say Ghostface is more fun personally and he is the more viable killer in my opinion since hes good on most if not every map if you learn how to play him while Myers i find to be more hit or miss

plus Ghostface is cheaper and has more cosmetics you can get if your interested though he doesn't come with a survivor

Ghostface is by far more viable killer imo.

Myer’s DLC is also great for survivors though. His DLC gives four to five perks that are useful on a slew of killers and all survivors.

Both fun but Ghostface is better tier wise than Myers, no speed reduction + faster at exposing a survivor

I enjoy Myers more. They are both good, but probably ghosti is a little bit better.

MIKEY is MORE FUN and has better perks. Michael Myers has so many playstyles you can always find a way to make him fun.

GF is probably stronger, but I love playing as Mikey, especially with tombstone or scratched mirror. Fun times.

It depends on how competitive you're trying to play. Overall, I say Myers.

Ghostface's returns start to diminish drastically relative to survivor experience and skill. Survivors control way too much of Ghostface's power for my liking. He also has really poor add ons. You can play hit and run with him and be effective, but Wraith is arguably more effective at that anyway.

Myers on the other hand retains a large portion of his stealth capability against experienced players with a Dead Rabbit add on and M+A. I run Nemesis+PWYF to give him chase potential. Myers doesn't give a survivor an audio cue if they accidentally look at him in passing. He doesn't have a cooldown on his ability to stalk.
