Bring Mori but don't use it
I have a weird little practice and I'm curious if I'm the only one or if others do it (or if you don't do it and see what I say, maybe you'll want to :D)
I have a habit of watching the lobby for the telltale signs of the SWAT SWF (you know, the foursome who run with the discipline and talent of a SWAT Team). A bunch of items, similar names, similar characters used, entered the lobby at the exact same time; that kind of thing.
What I have started to do if I suspect it is a SWAT SWF is that I will bring Ebony Mori BUT I will not use it until I confirm that this is indeed a SWAT SWF (or I suppose if they're super unlucky, four really really really really talented Solo players :D) and only then will I actually use Mori.
So far I have done this four times where I brought Mori. Two of the times, I never even used the Mori as it was just a normal rag-tag group of survivors and twice I used it because it turned out to be a SWAT SWF Team.
Just curious if others do this. If not, will you now that I planted the idea in your brain? Or do you say there is no honor in killin and you'll just use Mori whenever you want :D

Sometimes when SWFs see that hidden offering, they will completely throw the game just to try to not let you use it. I've had multiple wins I didn't deserve in the least just from everyone trying to bodyblock and/or flashlight for someone who has been hooked at some point, or constantly saboing hooks to prevent that first hook.
Then they get really confused in post game chat when I never actually use the mori, not realizing their playstyle did more harm to their group than actually using the mori would have :)

Ha! Nice :D

Bringing an ivory mori completely messes up SWF. I always mori the most annoying one, and the others proceed to panic. Glorious

Alot of swf thor the match if they see a hidden offering or even if its just a mori ive had them forfeit it suck especially when you just wamt to play a match after waiting 5 to 10 minutes

I always get a match cancelled if it was a SWF team and I correctly guessed it by bringing ebony mori. I wish If you brought Mori but opted not to use then you could keep it. I’m sure people might find that OP, but I would feel a lil better as killer if I had some reassurance for when I’m suddenly against a cheating SWF team (this game wasn’t created with coms in mind). 🤷🏻

... It's not like comms didn't exist when DBD was created. 🙄

Coms still don’t exist in DbD. You mean people were cheating even back when the game was created? Yeah...they also cheated? What’s your point? At least back then they had to jump through more hoops to group up with friends and cheat, now it’s just a normal thing. Game was created with no mics and was meant to play with no mics. Had they wanted verbal communication then it would be a feature in the game and if they would have enforce the gaming environment they sought to create then we would have no SWF, except in custom matches.
Dont get me wrong here, I like playing and chatting with my friends, but I’m cheating when I do so. This isn’t secret knowledge, I can personally become every information perk and counter a dozen killer perks just by using my mouth lol~

Neither did SWF but here we are

Or you could just accept the fact that you cant win every game.

This reminds me when in 2018 there wasn't a mori icon to make it easier to see you had mori, and completely missed I left a mori the last time for some reason on a leatherface match I did for a daily

But those 4 man SWF deathsquad deserve to win every game?

That's a fair point. I only just started doing this (I've hit lvl 50 with a few killers so I'm using up all my offerings before prestiging) so maybe I've just gotten lucky or maybe the SWAT SWF Teams I've played have just been cocky enough to not care.

Well I'm glad to know I'm at least as smart as a braindead killer! :D

No, but if you lose then you lose.

True, but the real issue is that people often have a hard time accepting the loss against certain aspects of the game.
Survivors getting moried and the Killer going against a 4 man swat team are good examples of what I mean.

Or dc or kill themselves 1st hook because they think it's an ebony lol

If I've been having a bad day, sometimes I bring an Ivory Mori into a match just in-case someone does something I really hate. Although, the only things I hate are 59 second DS, locker DS, and OoO, so I normally just end up wasting a mori. It's fine though, I don't like using them often anyway
