How the ######### do you deal with flashlight saves on console?
Just had a match where every single time I downed as survivor, at least two of them would pop up and flashlight stun as I picked them up. No matter how hard I tried, I could not look down fast enough to avoid the save. My sensitivity is at 100%. What do I do here?

Bait the survivor to attempt to go for the flashlight save, or just look at a wall

Couldn't look at the wall because I couldn't turn fast enough to get to it. Will take into account baiting, thanks.

Try using infectious fright to see if theirs people around or use lightborn and watch how desperate they get the blind.

I look up instead of down, and that usually works for me. I find that if I avoid the first one or two, survivors stop trying.

If I see more than one flashlight coming into the match I always use lightborn. Works in my favor a lot at pallets or carrying someone not enough people must use the perk so a lot of times they stand in place thinking they will get you and you get a free hit on them instead.

Uhhh, what?
I said look at a wall as in "pick up the survivor while looking at a wall"

Oh, gotcha

Jajajajajaja it is too easy, when you see a flashlight, you have to use lightborn perk from Billy, you can see that survivors try to blind you and he can't. Lool it will be funny 😂, came on, try to do it and tell me what happened

Looking down isnt the way to counter it. If they know the timing looking down will do nothing. You have to look at a wall before picking them up or bait the save be standing ontop of the downed survivor so they come for the save then hit them

Hahaha lol, you just use lightborn and you Will see who laughs now. If you see a flashlight use it and tell me what happened, I'm rank 1 as a killer

When downing a survivor try to face wall then pick them up or when you down a survivor check around the area for another survivor if there is another survivor around either try and chase them away then go back or if you get the opportunity hit them and it will discourage them from coming back.
Another tip is if you do face a Survivor that’s about the flashlight save as soon as you pick up the downed survivor quickly look up

Does not matter.
I made a thread a while ago about being blinded outside of FOV.
It's not just me. I had 1 match where there was less than a foot between me and the wall and still was blinded because of beams from another dimension. it's trash

Were you using FOV perks?
Cause this wasn't happening to me ever, and I face flashlight alot

No, I dont have any unlocked. I have my sensitivity up at 100 and I still couldn't turn my camera fast enough to get out of the flashlight stun.

Usually if you get blinded at the right time, it won't matter
Which is why you either look at a wall or bait out the savior, but FOV perks can cause what that person was talking about

Looking at a wall doesn’t help me lol I’ll get blinded even if I see nothing but wall as fact I feel if you can’t see them they shouldn’t be able to blind you.

Weird, this has never happened to me ever

If you really don't wanna deal with flashlights run doc and get them to madness 3. They need to snap out before using it or use franklin to smack those flashlight out of their hands.

Faking the pickup helps alot. If they want the save they have to commit at that time. At that point I slug and go for the person with the flashlight. Also facing a wall during pickup.

- If there is a wall or obstacle they can't flashlight through turn around and look at that while picking up the survivor
- Walk up to the survivor, wait a second and then turn around 180 and pick up the survivor

Drop the survivor as soon as the light gets too much. It legit works too. I've gone against a full team of flashlights and with the right build they were punished.

The other day this happened to me three or four times in one match every time I was looking right at the wall.

Rank 1 killer on Xbox here. There's two main ways to deal with those buggers.
The main thing, is to know your enemy. I.e, if you see two or more survivors show up in one go, and they have a flashlight, assume they will come for the save.
With that in mind, the first tactic is to bait it. To do that, you go to the person you downed, wait half a second, then scan around and see if you can see anyone around the corners. The second step, is what you should always do if you can, and that is to look at a wall before you pick them up. Make sure your entire screen is wall, otherwise they can still possibly get the blind.
Next up, there's preventing the saves from being attempted at all. Small tricks are, bringing franklin's, looking quickly behind you mid chase to see if there's someone following, and to target the survivor with the flashlight. The second one of these is the main thing you should do. Even in a chase, you need to have awareness of what's happening around you.
There's also little things, for instance, if you're chasing a survivor, and you get the down very quickly, 9/10 times it'll be safe to pick up. If it takes more than 30 seconds or so, then the teammate/'s would have time to travel to you. Least that's what it's like from my experience.
Hopefully, this helps.
