Changing and fixing the most irritating and annoying things in Dead by Daylight.
Keys, SWF, mori and certain Killers' ultra rare add-ons
For every normal Survivor it is very very frustrating to be moried by hard tunneling Killer. Mori is uncounterable and just unfun. The same issue with Keys and SWF.
With recent gen speed Keys often grant nearly free escape. Keys end the game for Killers prematurely like mori does it for Survivors. They both are bullshit.
SWF literally breaks the game. Survivors with comms bypass entire mechanics like Blindndess Status Effect, Stealth. Object of Obsession, not that strong for solos, is broken for SWF because all 4 Survivors know the exact Killer's location. It is too unfair.
Some Killer's Ultra Rare add-ons are too god damn disgusting. Infamous Iridescent Head, Red Head's Pinky Finger turning the Clown into omega Bubba, Mother Daughter Ring making Spirit ######### faster than Hillbilly, Coxcombed Clapper on Wraith negates very fair Survivors' awareness, Michael's Tombstone piece allows to eliminate Survivor too quick.
Lets change and fix that all!
MEMENTO MORI
Remove Ivory and Ebony Memento Mori from the bloodweb. Ivory and Ebony Moris remaining in the iventory is deleted granting 6000 Bloodpoints each.
Recall "Cypress Memento Mori" into "Memento Mori", increase its rarity to Very Rare and buff it:
- Grants the ability to kill all Survivors in the trial who have been hooked twice
- Grants the ability to kill the last Survivor remaining in the trial
- Killing a Survivor grants 3000 Bloodpoints to the Sacrifice Category
- Secret
This mori almost doesn't allow Killers to end the Survivor's game that prematurely.
KEYS
Survivors looking for the just appeared Hatch right now tremendously stall the game. They hide and silently walk across the map and do not do Generators which make the Killer's gameplay very very boring. I had a game where 2 Survivors with a Key were searching for the Hatch for 20 ######### minutes (on Pale Rose). To prevent situations like that and remove the Survivors' possibility to end the game prematurely:
- The Hatch spawns at the beginning of the trial
- The Hatch is hidden and uninteractable for all Survivors until the final Generator is repaired.
- Though the Hatch becomes visible for all players when there are only two Survivors remaining in the trial, it is still completely uninteractable. Killers can see the Hatch to always have an option to find the Hatch, hook the third Survivor, close tha Hatch and start the End Game Collapse instead of just slugging for the 4k
- Key allow a Survivor to escape through the Hatch only after the last Generator is done or when the Hatch was closed by the Killer himself
SWF
Very simple. Change "Survive With Friends" to "Survive with Friend". Duo SWFs are not that gamebreaking.
If people want to play all together - there are "Kill Your Friends" or custom game option.
KILLERs' OVERPOWERED/UNFUN ADD-ONS
The Wraith's Coxcombed Clapper
When Bone Clapper still gives Survivors distand audio cue giving Survivors at least some ideas about what the Wraith is doing, Red Clapper completely removes the all information. It is very annoying to be hit when you literally had no chance to avoid it. My idea:
- Recall into Iridescent Clapper
- After performing a Surprise Attack on a Survivor all Survivors percieve an audio cue and your Wailing Bell becomes completely silent for 30 seconds
- This effect has no cooldown
- Moderately reduces the Wraith's reappearance time (the effect of "Blink - White" add-on)
The Shape's Tombstone Piece
This add-on needs to be nerfed:
- Increases the ammount of Evil required to reach Evil Within III tremendously (instead of considerably)
- Slows Michael down by 5%
The Huntress's Iridescent Head
- No longer reduces the capacitry of Hunting Hatchets
- Hunting Hatchets instantly down healthy Survivors when being thrown from at least 28 meters range
- Doesn't instantly down healthy Survivors when they are within 16 meters range from the hooked Survivor
The Spirit's Mother Daughter Ring
- Reduce the movement speed bonus from +40% to +25%
The Clown's Red Head's Pinky Finger
It's pointless to give any ideas becuase Clown anyway needs a complete and overhaul rework.
The Plague's Black Incense
- Reduce Aura-reading duration to 2 seconds

The Wraith doesn't need to be nerfed... which is basically what your suggestion would be
The Coxcombed Clapper is an ultra rare addon for that reason... if anything replace Blind Warrior with Deafed Warrior and give it the ability to mute audio cues for 30 seconds after a surprise attack
The tombstone piece change you ask for is already in the game (Judith's Tombstone)... its balanced as is due to it considerably draining Evil Within apon killing... so at most its a 2k then you need to regain EW3...
The only thing I'd do to Iri Head is making it so you can't have more than one... its fine other then the fact you can have up to 3 of them... and it's not like it makes the hatchet 100% accurate... even missing one hatchet (using Iri Head can lose you a match cause she would need to reload after missing)
The Mother Daughter Ring is really fast I'll give you that... but making it the same as other addons while leaving scratch marks invisible isn't the way to go... using M-D Ring is (really fun to use) a double-edged sword IMO if you misuse it then you're A) out of position and B) have no power till recovered
Totally agree with The Clown needing to be reworked
The Plague must be able to keep all survivors throwing up to get full effect of this addon.... she cannot pressure all 4 survivors at once... the Black Incense is good in a 1v1 situation not a 4v1

You do realize they're Ultra Rare for a reason, right? Tombstone Piece is the only exception, but it's still Very Rare. Your changes would make a good portion of these add-ons nowhere near worthy of their rarity and not really worth running.
Your Coxcombed Clapper would work better with a new add-on.
You lose EW3 the moment you kill someone with Tombstone Piece.
Mother-Daughter Ring disables your ability to see scratch marks while phasing. It requires the Spirit to be good at tracking only using the environment.
Black Incense only works if the Survivor is broken and Plague can't pressure everyone at once. She can only go after 1 or 2 at a time.

While SWF can be difficult to deal with... not all 4 man SWF's are tryhards... though bringing solos on par with 4 man SWF's should be a thing the devs start addressing... short answer would be to limit perk options from SWF (but that'll be hard to implement)... or just buff killers
New item: Walkie Talkie- allow surivor(s) to talk to one another... but static audio will play while in use and survivor is immobile while using... and cannot be used while on hook (obviously)... it works like an open mic if only one survivor has it, 2-4 will allow comms from all players
Common walkie talkie: allows 10 seconds of communication to team
Uncommon walkie talkie: 15 seconds
Rare walkie talkie: 20 seconds
Very rare walkie talkie: 25 seconds
Ultra rare walkie talkie: 30 seconds
Addons include batteries for longer use, headsets to decrease static noise range, an ultra rare addon to allow for use on the move but with shorter duration
Mori: grant the ability to kill all survivors once all survivors have been hooked
Keys: IDK what to do with these... but here goes, only opens hatch after a successful difficult skillcheck and an animation plays out
Hatch: only spawns when 1 survivor remains in the match or when all gens are done... if it's just the one survivor then the hatch will spawn and open, if it's when all gens are done the it spawns closed till only one remains

Hard no on the silent clapper. An aware survivor would see him uncloaking if they're, you know, being aware. Without it he turns into a shittier, loud as ######### ghostface that can't stalk, cause at this point it's hard not to see him when cloaked.
