Instead of nerfing DS
Make Enduring work against it everyone is happy

They actually increased the stun duration to 5 seconds because it was effected by enduring. Then they changed it so enduring doesn't effect it.
Then they never changed the time back to 3-4 seconds... so... Another thing to add to the mountain of fixes that this game needs.

Ok, if they are going to revert it back to 3-4 seconds, they should also revert it back to be usable anytime you're picked up. :)

Then make it so killers can juggle again and make the stun be reduced with enduring :)

Do it baby, lets go vanilla! :)

IMO I would rather BHVR give killer's away to deactivate the perk by hooking another survivor, since it would still punish non-tunneling killer's for not tunneling.

No. Just cut the timer when they are doing an objective, such as gens or healing. If they can do that, then they aren't being tunneled.

asked it months ago (read my thread for confirmation), and their reply was that a revert was never planned in the first place.

You mean to the time when it randomly didn't work even when you perfectly hit the skillcheck and the stun never applied to hag ? That's pretty close to how it was when it released.

I didn't mind vanilla DS as much, I prefer it than people abusing it on another level

They have already nerfed DS before. It's in a better state now.

Yeah make DS even more unpunishing. Gosh.
1 -
Yeah, how it should be

No

It isn't, lemme explain
Surv unhooks Surv, you chase the Surv that unhooked the Surv and yoy down and hook her. You start chasing the original Surv that got hooked bcus they was doing a gen, thta isn't tunneling.

I feel enduring should work against it. Honestly I don't know why they ever changed enduring in the first place. It was a lot better when it could be used against all stuns, and it wasn't all that OP. If they wanted to keep stun times the way they are then I wouldn't care

Or just look at the actual Problems killers have to deal with, like maps. Which is exactly what is happening. Survivors having strong perks is not. Even if it is a bit more than just an antti-tunneling perk.

It is ... Before you could use it at FIRST down. The only thing you had to do was make sure you went down far from a hook to give you time to get your wiggle time. That's it.
The conditions are far better now and especially since you have unlimited slugging capabilities.

I honestly wouldn't care. Dead hard is just as buggy even today and it's still most people's go-to exhaustion perk. If I could go back to original DBD in its entirety, I would.

Then killers don't get what they want either. Its that simple.

OG DBD was quite an imbalanced mess. I don't know what do you miss about it. Infinites, traps under hooks & facecamping/tunneling, no servers & no bans = whenever killer started to lose they could just lagswitch if they felt like it without any threat of punishment, 100x times more bugs then now, just 3 pretty boring killers and only handful of maps. I honestly don't think you would like any of that. Main thing that made it fun was that it was new/everyone didn't know they can abuse everything and there wasn't anything else like it.
DBD today is far far far better off then it used to be, not saying it still hasn't got a long way to go but it's improving.

They should either decrease the timer (because 1 minute is a lot of time in DBD) or make it so that it deactivates during certain scenarios. For example, if a survivor heals, repairs a gen, or goes into a locker, it should deactivate.
It also shouldn't work during EGC.

I dont know man, I had a lot more fun in original DBD - bugs be damned. The current state of DBD might function better, but I find the game itself far less enjoyable now as a solo survivor.

That would be really convenient for killers, wouldn't it. 😂
The perks as intended and shouldn't be changed.

Don't get me wrong, I liked old DBD otherwise I wouldn't be playing it for hundreds of hours back in the day. I'm just saying that I probably wouldn't be able to enjoy it with how broken it was as I used to if I got to play it again today.
DBD seeming less fun today is just the effect of it beiing 4 years old with very little to no big changes. We're still playing it the same way as we were back in the day just more balanced with bigger variety and somewhat less bugs. That won't probably ever change thou.
