Weird DC Bug

I play the game pretty often, and I have yet to have an issue with the DC penalty until last night.

I was playing with some friends against a huntress, and after I cleansed her hex totem the game ended and it told me she dced and all my teammates escaped. I assumed she DCed because I cleansed her totem. I could see what perks she ran too, so I legit just assumed the game was over, since you can't see killer perks until the game is over

According to my friends that is not the case, they were still in the game against the huntress, who as it turns out did not DC. Also, according to them, I kinda just vanished from the round. Like, it said I was still in the game, but was nowhere to be seen. And then when I went to the survivor lobby, I had a 5 minute ban timer.

I could not spectate either.

I have never had this happen before, and it didn't happen again for the rest of the night, I have no idea what happened, but I am incredibly curious if this happened to anybody else?

I am not complaining about being banned for 5 minutes either, that is such a little time it doesn't matter. I am more so just confused?
