Bad build, probably a bad player as well. Loses to maybe SWF? Not unexpected.

I would report the person who put the offending message in the chat.
Other than that, just move onto the next game.
I would recommend PGTW, BBQ, M&A and a perk of your choice for Doc with the Calm Add-Ons
5 -
Sad you are recommending such a bad build. Obviously whispers is S tier on doc. 32m terror radius, 32m insta-find survivors radius? Why would you ever run monitor on him?
1 -
Im just impressed you were matched so well with like-ranked survivors. LOL
10 -
Out of chase, you have a 24m TR, allows you to sneak up on people. In chase, you have a 40m TR. With Calm addons, the TR is even bigger/smaller when Static Blast is ready/on cooldown. Ergo, you can hit a ton of people with Static Blast then have a tiny one to sneak up on people.
5 -
Calm is terrible on doc. It only messes with unaware survivors. Disciple is the best doc add-on by a mile. Turing the shock from a 1 second detonation to a .7 second detonation is actually broken.

Calm add-ons expand your TR, as does M&A when in a chase. I believe its close to a 50m terror radius. Use Static Blast while in a chase and suddenly you know where every Survivor is.
Also, after you use Static Blast, the Calm add-ons reduce your TR until it recharges, giving you an 8m TR.
THAT is why you use M&A plus Calm.

See my above comment. It only messes with baby survivors who are bad in a chase.

Discipline is a solid option for Doc, most of his add-ons are decent.
However, I disagree. If Survivors cannot hear you coming AND you know where they are, you massively shorten chases which is incredibly valuable.
If you really want a Doc build that suits your playstyle, might I recommend SF, Enduring, PGTW and BBQ.
1 -
I've used that build (Purple and Green Discipline with Brutal Strength, BBQ, Whispers, and Pop), and its pretty good for ending loops quickly, but theres other builds on Doc, some that are better. Pulsar's is better for using Static Blast than Shock Therapy, more about location and ambushing (which is better for some people's playstyle) than outright chasing.
1 -
Wow, you had a bad game, so sad.
4 -
Disciple is clearly the most overpowered add-on the doc can muster. You never want to lower your terror radius. Keeping it at 32m so it is in sync with whispers is the best option doc has. You walk around the map, whispers lights up, you static blast and auto-find survivors in the first 20 seconds of the game. It is actually broken. Then you rock disciple so they can't even throw a pallet as well. Busted killer in the hands of skilled player.

That is exactly what my build is built for. Why chase if you can get an easy first hit? However, @Shocktober seems to enjoy the chase build, which is why I recommended the Enduring, SF, BBQ and PGTW. If you really wanted, you could swap PGTW or BBQ for Brutal Strength.

I disagree, I view Whispers as a training wheels perk. It helps Killers with low awareness find people. Now, that isn't to say it doesn't have its uses, Otz uses it wonderfully while playing Trapper, but I view it the same as Windows of Opportunity.
So, I don't know, if it works for you, that's good enough for me. Just, try not to insult other people's builds in the future though?
1 -
Base doc is actually good enough to have multiple builds work with him. Not everyone does well with what many would consider the optimal build for doc or any killer. Also some would like to use meme addons and perks for fun so you all should take that into consideration.
1 -
Not the most OP addon- just the one that suits your playstyle the best. Doc has a ton of versatility when it comes to builds- Slow Heals, Impossible Skillchecks, the Chaser and Ambusher builds mentioned above, Gen Protection- he's got it all. Thats just your favorite build.
1 -
That is funny, if you watch Otz's "killer add-on tier list" he states that "a good doctor will never let you do anything with the purple disciple add-on". And I agree. It is super oppressive to use and many people just suicide on hook when I am using it.
0 -
I genuinely do not like relying on add-ons like that. It is totally fine if you want to use them, more power to you, but they aren't for me. To each their own, I'm not gonna tell you what builds you can and cannot run.
3 -
Otz would also say the other addons are good if not better. The King is just as strong as Purple Discipline, and the Queen is better than Green and Yellow Discipline. He also says that his tier lists are general standings, and that depending on the build some addons are better than others.
0 -
I don't think so. Disciple is the best add-on he can use. A .7 second shock is insane. I don't know how it made it through QA testing. Everything else doc can use is a nuisance. It stops almost every loop in it's tracks assuming good map knowledge.
0 -
We can go back and forth like this, but fact is there's more than one good build on Doc, and different addons work with different builds.
And back to your game- toxic SWF, it happens unfortunately, but you have to make the best of it.

The last time I hit SWF with doc, I hit them with an ebony mori and purple disciple. It was TTVs so I got to watch the VOD. The comments were "what a cold blooded son of a #########" as I instantly found them and tunneled them down with whispers and a mori. But I don't mind it, they were mostly running 4x second chance perks and the map offering was springwood, the most survivor sided map in the game.

Yeah I don't know why people are still recommending stealth Doc in 2020 when there are so many builds that are just better. M&A is just so bad on him lmao.

Get good.

What happened up to that point?
I'm not implying anything and I actually encourage you to report that player for that last comment. What I'm saying is that there's a clear lack of context here in how you show us one single screenshot and leaving it at that. In my experience, it happens from time to time to get that survivor who goes gg ez post game, although nowhere near close as often as the ongoing meme in this forum would suggest, and it's also far rarer in the red ranks.
However, when they rub it in like that screenshots shows, it's almost always because something egregious happened during the match, or heated words were exchanged in the chat previously. You just show us the final part of the story. Still, their last comment is inexcusable, as I said.
As far as the power role is concerned, that's just a made up slogan to justify asking buffs and nerfs. This is a 4v1 horror-themed game. There's no power role that entails some sort of 'right' to rule over someone else.
1 -
This is what happens when the devs favor one side over the other.
2 -
imagine being high rank but still so boringly trash you have to rely on the meta to carry you through, sad days.
But yeah as was suggested, most def report that one player who typed "#########"
1 -
With the exception of a couple of ppl, watching a chat of "Git Gud, obv your fault, trash killer with trash perk choices"
2 -
It has been established a long time ago

If you have a inside offering to burn, i love using nemesis, spys from the shadow, dark devotion, pwyf or pgtw. You can even use haunted grounds.Your choice on those. Add ons calms or king queen combo. Really its what addons you like.
0 -
It's mind boggling to me that people actually responded to your post by telling you that your build sucked. Almost like they're saying you deserved it. I don't think they actually looked at the in-game chat. Typical survivor mains. Should be banned for saying stuff like that.
10 -
you didn't even know why it was viable until they explained it to you, stop playing pretendo.
0 -
Thankfully, killers can usually use whatever perks they want (within reason, haha) with decent results, so I don't see anything wrong with your build! Just a bad game with a bm-ing SWF group, sad that people feel entitled to be like that.
On a side note, I've found Thrilling Tremors to help me against SWF groups, and I feel like that would be a great choice on Doctor. Maybe something fun like Thrilling Tremors + Surge?
3 -
You win some, you lose some, shocker.
1 -
I dont get what the screenshot is meant to prove. Toxic survivors? We cant judge how the game played out from a screenshot.
Also remove haunted grounds its trash.
1 -
you don't always win, you know. that doesn't mean anything bigger.
0 -
New to DBD sweaty games?
0 -
heaven forbid someone try to use a build outside of the 6 designated usable killer perks
christ
5 -
You lost a game, I'm not seeing the big deal here. Yes. Killers are still the power role. That doesn't mean you're going to win every game.
0 -
They BM'd in post game chat. Report them? I do when killer's tell me to kill myself because they couldn't secure a kill.
Will posting on the forums do anything except circle jerk for whatever side seems to be proven right by a screenshot or video, no.
1 -
Personally, I stack calm addons with Thana, Sloppy, Coulrophobia & Dying Light. On a small map, they cant heal, cant repair, cant do anything.
0 -
Considering the one death he got was a kill rather than a sacrifice, I'd wager he brought a mori and tunnelled the bottom player trying to get it. He doesn't have any perks that can cause a mori, so unless the UI bugged and gave the bottom player a kill skull instead of a sacrifice, he brought a mori and edited the screenshot to show no offerings.
0 -
Or the guy, ya know, bled out lol. Lets not make baseless accusations.
0 -
Tbh I forgot bleedout was a thing lol
0 -
Because 1 game represents all games' stats LOL
1 -
So this is supposed to prove what, exactly? It just shows that you lost a game. You're not supposed to win literally every game you play.
1 -
"Only got one kill. Must be bad at the game, camps and tunnels." That's how people think when they don't play killer.
0 -
No one is meant to win every game regardless of roll. Just because you play killer does not mean you should always 3 or 4k.
0 -
Survivors really act out when they get mad dont they? People love to talk about how toxic killers are but when we talk about survivors we just hear "you are just a baddie, git gud" or " If bming makes you mad just play something else"
1 -
Another thread with a killer whining because they didn’t get a 4K and are being trash talked with survivors they can easily report. Moving on
