they are working on an MMR system that will be rank independent and you will not be able to see other players' rank. it is supposed to fix the matchmaking but we will NEVER know if it is working as intended since we will not know the rank of the players lol

Yeah, they could just attach ranks to MMR like Rocket League does. Because after the highest rank, you're matched with people close to MMR instead of rank. But at least you know the "relative" skill level of the players.

there aren't enough high rank killers to match high rank survivors against, so the MM system eases the rank restrictions for those players.
Killer ranking is far too hard and survivor ranking is far too easy.

It will be the same mm just don’t know how bad it is like you do now. I personally don’t care I get mostly all red ranks to go against but I think it helps to make me somewhat better going against some good high ranked ppl. I don’t want the game to be to easy so even tho all red ranks aren’t that good I like the challenge of the actual good survivors. Besides you won that match not because of the 3k but you also got more points with a killer a lot say it’s my that good so don’t think it’s that bad.

I'm down with playing against more challenging people in order to improve. My problem is when I'm a legit rank 17 and being matched with 9s on down to 2s. LOL But, I'm hanging in there. Eventually I'll have the experience to compete, whether my rank reflects that or not.

The games will be tougher and the right swf groups will be irritating but I think playing the good higher rank ppl does actual help a lot especially when your newer to the game or certain killers. Only been playing a few months myself and seeing how they try to hide or loop I thinks helping my killer game a lot more than the easier matches. I play basically nothin but red ranks when I’m killer and I ain’t the best and usually have a few drinks in me by then and it shows me how to try and run as a survivor better as well.

Well, so its ok he might have camped and tunneled to achive this 3k? Because i often hear survivors complain about that, and you have no information how they died.

They're not fixing anything. They're just going to hide rank so we won't see how bad were getting matched.
OP. I agree MM sucks ass but if they showed survivors ranks before the matched started then killers would lobby dodge.
