Flashlight saves
Hello everyone,
Is it supposed to happen that you trop a survivor because of a flashlight even when your was already walking to the basement. So i picked the survivor already up. I play on ps4.
If yes how do you think about this feature.
I think it doesn't require skill anymore and that means you could trop them any time from now on.
Sorry if what i posted was stupid .-.
Edit: now i know thank you all for answering my question. I should have read the patch notes befor posting something like this.
And i meant lt like that it is now a lot easier for a survivor to flashlight save someone. You just have to make a wrong turn where you get blinded and lose the survivor.

Its supposed to be like that and even as a Killer main i say that this is okey. It can be annoying but you can counter it.

Yes, it is supposed to happen. And it is probably one of the most skillful things a Survivor can do.
It is also counterable by looking at a wall or at least turning around before picking up. And if a Survivor is trying to blind you, look up as fast as possible, because if they did not get the timing right, you will be blinded, but not dropping the Survivor. If you keep looking at the Flashlight, you will eventually drop the Survivor.

Flashlight saves require very precise timing right down to the milisecond(okay, this may be an overexaggetion), time it where the animation of picking up the survivor just ends and where the killer cannot look away.
They do require skill, if they're getting saves while you're just walking around with a survivor, it's entirely your fault. Start looking up.

Then you should not look at the Flashlight, like I have written, look up. If you look at the Flashlight, it is quite easy to get the blind. The critical point is to use the Flashlight so that you are blinded when the picking animation ends (because during the animation the Survivor can blind the Killer, but they will not drop the Survivor). If you are not stuck in an animation and someone is blinding you with a Flashlight and you dont avoid it at all, you will drop the Survivor.

Ehi, it is indeed possible and a feature. While carrying a survivor be sure not to be blinded or he'll escape. To prevent this remember that you can look up to the sky/ceiling while going to the same direction you were going. This is useful especially when there are multiple survivor with flashlights that try to blind you from multiple directions. 👍️

Since when? I didn't play it for a few months. It was always during the animation befor.

It can happen by pick up,walking,breaking pallets and even vaulting an area. Whenever you see a light don't go toward it and don't look at it.
