McLean was wrong about resilience

Mcleance once said, on twitter if I am not mistaken, that Resilience affects literally all actions in the game.

But he was wrong! Resilience doesn't affect such actions like:

  • mending
  • snaping out of it
  • Jigsaw Box searching
  • Demogornon's portal sealing
  • hiding in lockers (!)

Resilience right now, when it should, doesn't save me from BBQ and Chilli when I jump into a locker!

Seriously though, Resilience should affect such actions, it must. Because it doesn't feel nice when perk which meaned to make all actions faster while Injured doesn't do all. And I am not sure that Resilience makes me drop pallets faster. If there is a difference, it barely noticeable.

And this perk needs a buff - increase it numbers to 7/8/9% because first levels are pathetic.

I wanted to say that Resilience should must affect all the speeds at which you perform interactions, only interations.

Anyway, I appreciate for a constructive comment.

I dont know about that, since Resilience is already a really good perk. In my opinion it is in the right place, but i rather see it nerfed then buffed.

Well, I mostly see it in the "you can't hit me through windows" build, along with spine chill

Should it really affect all interactions? Let's look at the description of the perk:

You are motivated in dire situations.

Grants 3/6/9 % increased Repairing, Healing, Sabotage, Unhooking, Vaulting, Cleansing, Gate Opening, and Chest Searching speeds while injured.

Resilience was never meant to increase the speed of things like jigsaw boxes, snapping out of it etc. If it was meant to then they would change the perk and the description to show that.

Spine Chill destription says it increases repair, heal and sabotage speeds.

However, it increases the speed of as many actions as Resilience does.

Well it also said in the description that it increased vault speeds, but they removed it....even though they didn't remove the vault speed increase it gives on fast vaults, for some reason.any perks do need a rewording of their descriptions along with the perks themselves, but I don't think that's too high a priority for them right now

    This thread is kinda weird:

    "Mclean was wrong"

"it should do what he claimed"

I mean this is either or, either he was wrong OR it should do what he claimed, but the former is the correct answer, he was wrong, reslience does not affect everything and this is by design.

Resiliance is pretty solid, but it could literally increase every interaction and it wouldn't be too much of a buff. I do think it's so it's not more powerful against some killers than others, though.

What? How are those mutually exclusive in any way? Because it is not wierd to say that someone's claim was incorrect but should, in fact, be correct.

A small buff to almost every interaction in the game is as good as a big buff to a few

Resilience is good enough as is... if they do anything this perk would not be the same

If they make it work on every action they have to make it work on every upcoming killer power that requires actions

And with their spaghetty code that's just asking for bugs

That and it would end up making most killers weaker then expected

You don’t want to go down the road of perks which make a killers power less useful and weakens them slightly.

This is why players asked for the sabo change to trapper’s traps for a long time.
