Best killer perks for first timer
I've got my survivors where I'd like them to be so instead of just throwing BP at them wastfully I figured I try leveling a killer.
My question is what are the best perks to unlock before trying (I dont want to try naked cause I know I'll end up getting super frustrated by anyone 'toxic').
Even if the perk build itself is considered toxic (lol) Id like help knowing where to start.
Also what killers are easier to get a handle on.

If bbq isn't on the shrine Wednesday, probably leatherface. Unless you already had a killer in mind that seems fun.

Perks really do not matter that much for a starter, its more just about learnign the game, what is in your FoV, patrolling gens, chasing and when to give up a chase, stuff like that
I guess maybe Iron Grasp or Agitation so you have a bit more time to orient yourself and find hooks and enduring so a pallet slam is less painful.

Yeah, I have all the killers. I've been leveling Leatherface to unlock the Barbque perk (since I hear it talked about so much)
I don't think I'll be good at chases (but who knows?) I suck at them as a survivor. I think I'd like to start with patrolling gens.

I would recommend Monitor & Abuse. This can be especially effective on killers with small terror radiuses, but I enjoy using it to get myself into chases faster because the survivors have less of a notification you're coming (unless they're running like Spine Chill or something).
Also seconding Iron Grasp. I run it on every killer I have it on because it just makes it easier to get to hooks without as much wiggle motion.

well my common build that i share on most killers is corrupt, pop, BBQ then last one is a mix of other perks depending who i play, i would say the easier killers are the faster moving ones, these tend to be easier overall and still pretty strong regardless and id say play most iller to get a feel for what style you like, if youre new to killer the perks shouldnt be a must, feel free to ask anything iv been rank 1 killer/survivor for nearly 3 years so im happy to give advice

Unrelenting is a decent perk for getting a swing on landing hits. Plus, it acts as a soft counter to Dead Hard, also allowing you to get a feel for your timing on that. Combine with Mad Grit to make carrying Survivors interesting.

My meta three are BBQ, Pop Goes the Weasel, and Brutal Strength. I recommend them in that way order and it works on most killers. Brutal is not needed on killers who ignore pallets or can break pallets with their ability. Otherwise this is a universal build.
BBQ to grind points twice as fast. Pop to slow the game down.
