Killers between trials

I wonder what they do and what kind of interactions they've had with each other? I've seen mentioned that there have been some confrontations and that is definitely intriguing to me but I also wonder what their version of the campfire is. What serves as their hub/base/lobby, etc?

both could equally be true, some might resign themselves to staying in their realm, uninteresting or uncaring to leave. probably like doctor, and demogorgon. while others stray into the other realms to just look around and see the other killers sometimes. i assume ghostface takes pictures of every realm.

its also possible they hang out in a basement like samination animations. or just an empty void surrounded by the entity

I'm surprised I know the answer here

The campfire itself is one of 6 known sub-realms to the Entity's realm in Dead By Daylight, while the survivors return to the campfire itself whether they escape or die so do the Killers. The Killers are stalking the Survivors from a distance, also awaiting the next trial, but without engaging with the Survivors. It is also where both Survivors and killers burn their offerings to influence the Entity during the next trial.

This is basically directly seen and represented through the lobby / queue, where the four survivors about to enter the next trial are placed together briefly, and from the Killer point of view: he / she watches them from a farther off position where they (the survivors) can't see them (the killer[s]).

I think this can probably be inferred in two different ways, it could be that the Killer simply lurks just beyond the light provided by the campfire in the shadows between the trees and brush, or a second way is that the killers wait in a darkness farther beyond the campfire and they are provided a kind of far-sight or window to see the survivors there.

What I'm fairly certain about however, is that the Killers are isolated, unlike the Survivors who are grouped together and can interact and talk (supposedly?) with each other the killers are completely alone. I can't remember exactly what stream but I'm more than fairly certain the devs said this once upon a time in one of their many streams. So they actually don't interact with each other, but I think they said it was an interesting thought whether or not the killers ever meet with each other, whether they are aware of each other's existence, how they would act towards each other (cooperatively, apathetically, or aggressively), and whether or not they could possibly meet in the future. As it stands we just don't know this information

Most of this info comes from the official Dead By Daylight Wiki:
