So, in the mid-chapter update they increased the trapper's ability to hear his traps being disarmed/sabotaged from 48 (I think?) meters to 10,000,000 meters. That is approximately 6214 miles. At that distance, he can hear traps going off from space (at the very edge of the exosphere, the furthest portion of the atmosphere), 1/4 the way to the moon, and on the ground, almost quite literally halfway across the world (an antipode, the opposite position of the world, is about 12,427 miles, and half that is about his range).
The entity might torture the killers, but dang it has an employment plan with some perks.

guess that means swamp is 20,000,000 meters in diameter cuz i never here my traps go on that map
