Anyone else hate ASMR with a passion?

Like, I just can't stand it when people talk in that low voice style for extended periods. It makes me feel very nauseous and is actual torture on my body. I would honestly rather be punched in the face then listen to certain ASMR for any kind of extended period.

I tried forcing myself to watch a longer video once for some unknown masochistic reason and after a few minutes I had to stop and take a breather because I thought I was going to vomit.

Oddly, it's only the low pitch whispering kind that gets me. The mic rubbing and other stuff is fine as well as higher pitch whispering being a-ok. I still don't like it perse but I don't feel like I'm going to die either.

I simply have no idea how anyone can enjoy it though lol. More power to you all if you can. ^_^;

    I don’t mind it but I wouldn’t watch it if that makes sense. the only thing I hate about it are the food eating. like seeing someone eat chips slowly is weird and that one pickle video made me gag from the wet crunchy noise.

    I don't hate it that much, but very few types of ASMR are comfortable to listen to for me. Even those I don't seek out because it can quickly become a problem.

    I'll watch ASMR sometimes, but I'm super picky about what ASMR I watch. I pretty much prefer tapping sounds. Anything with food is a no-go. Food ASMR and mukbangs are gross, but tapping ASMR gives me some good tingles.

    The worst one are the ones, wheres somebody eats tons of crispy foods whilst they are whispering weird stuff.

    I freaking hate it. My GF is watching this crap only because she know it annoys me.. :(

    I only like the stuff without talking...the whispering is usually awful imo. Wordless ASMR on Youtube is under the radar and the best I’ve found, the Monopoly one is probably my favorite. One of the few who gets it. Odd Tinkering is another one I like...this is not an ASMR channel, but more the unintentional variety. Just a guy repairing stuff, including old video game systems, without saying a word. I like the sounds.
