How long has Legion had this?

Legion has been buffed and nerfed more than any other killer probably, which makes it hard to keep up with all the changes. But since when has using a basic attack decrease his ability's meter? I don't play him often, but I don't think that's been around too long. Was this a shadow nerf, was it in a ptb, or did I miss the announcement? Please fill me in and give me your opinions on this change. I don't think he needed this.

    It was from last year when they did the legion rework

    Losing a part of the power gauge when hitting someone was there since Legion's release.

    I don't really know why tbh.

    It's been something that happened since release.


    It was somewhat understandable (not really) when frenzy could down survivors but currently with how Legion works now there is absolutely no reason why it should still be a thing.
