Is it right for an item to destroy a killers power?
Yep, I'm talking about Hag.
Now, while Hag is incredibly strong despite it, is it fair for a flashlighter to completely destroy a Hag's game? I feel like this feature is outdated and shouldn't be a thing. Hag already has her flaws, flashlights just add insult to injury. Flashlights should be reworked against her to either do nothing to her traps, or maybe reveal it in a short radius. This would keep her more consistent with the other killers, who don't get their power affected by items. Trapper is now immune to toolboxes, so why can't Hag be immune to flashlights?

No, not really. But it's a 'fun little mechanic' I guess.

While it is true that the Flashlight can burn the Traps, I dont think it is that much of a deal. Even with a purple Flashlight and Add Ons it can run out of Battery pretty fast (maximum with green Battery and Low Amp Filament are 20ish seconds, if I remember correctly). And, the Survivors cannot prepare for a Killer by bringing Flashlights, because they dont know that they are playing vs a Hag, while the Killer can either equip Franklins or change the Killer.
And when a Survivor finds a Flashlight in a Chest, they are gone even faster, because of no Add Ons.
However, I would totally trade this ability and give a few Buffs to Hag (like faster Setting Speed, longer Range), if Traps would not trigger while walking over them...

Not sure about what you could do as both powers are different.
The trappers traps can still be disarmed even without a toolbox and you can escape them. Toolboxes also removed the trappers power originally and even when they could respawn it took some time.
The Hag can set her traps anytime and has an umilited amount on demand even if she can only set 10 at once, can teleport to them so has map pressure. She can set multiple around hooks and areas much easier than the trapper as he needs an addon to do that. Without being able to remove or disable them the basement would be worse for example even though you can crouch over them its painfully slow. What you don't want is to make it easier for the Hag to soft patrol camp.
Maybe instead of flashlights removing them they could instead just highlight them and any survivor can wipe them away with a timed cleansing animation of say 3s? That way its disarming them for saves but it isn't something you can do while looping with a flashlight as it is now.

Yeah, actually flashlights reveal them and the survivors do an animation would be quite good, I can see that working.
I'm not a dev, so I don't know how the trading would be balanced, but longer range could actually be the way to go, as Hag would become less addon reliant (she is addon reliant a bit). But I do think the animation idea is better, as it gives flashlights utility, and also helps Hag at loops against a flashlighter.
