Insta-down Killers

Something seriously needs to be done so soften the amount of insta down killers. It’s unbelievably unfair to be able to get downed with 1 hit. It has become everything beyond a joke now. They are always relied upon and other killers don’t get played anymore, every game it’s either a bubba, oni or billy. Who always seems to tunnle. Just stop it and fix your god forsaken game
I know I’m gonna get “git gud” but seriously it’s getting out of control

The interesting thing is all the killers you've mentioned take skill. Many killers have capabilities to instadow, but it becomes hard.
The only killer that has an instadown that needs a change is Huntress and her iridescent hatchets, and Billy could get a small nerf, but complaining about Oni and Bubba?

Welcome to the forums man, enjoy your stay.
As for your complaint, I would advice you to start playing those killers, and play them all the way to rank ermm lets say 5, by then you should know their shortcommings and then you can use that against them when you play your survivor matches.
Truly the only sorta problematic killer is the Nurse, (maybe Hag), she is the only one that in the hands of a good player has little of a counter, and she is not even one of the insta-down killers.
(also bubba is considered by many to be bottom tier, just an fyi)

Just one question: Bubba? Stop, he's already dead! :(

killers that needs to spend time to get their one shot are fair. Like oni (certain add-ons are in fact annoying), Myers and ghostface needs to spend time for their one shot power.
And leatherface needs to be litterly in your ass to reach you with his chainsaw. The only killer that might be unfair is Billy but thats it.

Billy and Bubba, while they seem OP, are actually incredibly weak. Try this: When you're looping one around a pallet instead of throwing it right away just keep running. They'll attempt to rev their chainsaw at the pallet allowing you to keep going. It saves on pallets and lets them sweat a bit knowing you know their counter. Don't be afraid of the chainsaw. Its a hindrance, not a boon. And if a Billy at least starts backrevving you, just start 360ing like crazy. And switch directions. It doesn't always work but when it does...you can usually get to the next pallet.
And if they start using M1 instead of their chainsaw then you've drastically changed the game. You can't 360 Bubba though. But you can make REALLY tight turns around ######### like trees whereas he can't or he loses a ######### ton of time.

If you complain about Bubba the answer is Git Gud indeed. Oni is a m1-er. He can’t do nothing unless you feed him. An Billy, maybe the only one that should be looked at. But he shouldn’t be able to get you at loops either. Also you skipped Myers and GF.

Nurse is also everything but problematic. They made her way too unforgiving to play in order for me to enjoy it. The skillcap is insane, even not so good survivors can make you do a mistake and then you’re screwed. It’s a LOT harder to play Nurse than to counter her after all. If she needs any change, it is a buff to make her a lil’ bit less fustrating to play. Right now even if you 4k that means you have to sweat your ass off for it.

Exactly my thought.
All of those Killers have some kind of Skill Level. Personally, I enjoy to play vs M2-Billys a lot, because it is challenging, but can be also quite rewarding when you dont go down. Surely some Billys are easier than others because they go for Chainsaws while they are not as good as they think, but when playing vs a good Billy who goes for M2s a lot, this can be a lot of fun.
Bubba is weak. Players go for Chainsaws only when they can 100% down the Survivor, otherwise he has a big penalty. He is one of the weakest Killers for a reason, if you take into account that he has an Insta-Down, it should say a lot, how weak Bubba actually is.
Regarding Oni, he has to build up his Power. Surely once he got it, he can be devastating, but until then, he is an M1-Killer without any ability.
That the respective Killers tunnel does not have anything to do with the Killer, it is the player. And a tunneling Trapper, Wraith, Pig, whatever can be as unfun as an Instadown-Killer.
I guess when you play more against Killer like Billy or Oni, you will see that they are strong, but not unbeatable (talking about Base here, Billy has some questionable stuff in regards to Add Ons).

Agreed.

Ok, should I be offended he forgot GF exists or?

The only insta down killer that's a problem is that stupid huntress addon. If any other killer oneshots you they had to work for it and it's likely a large chunk your own fault.

Nahhh most players dont stalk with ghostface so... 🤷🏻♂️

Well maybe iri hatchets should make like doctor iri king but applying all debuff same time.
Mangled, exhaust and hinder.

it literally takes 2.5 seconds to full stalk and get an easy insta down. I doubt people just don’t do it lol

Oni has to work up for his ability to one shot down survivors, lose LoS with him
Bubba has a numerous amount of counters, force him to hit walls if you need to or throw a pallet in his face as even though he is in sprint a pallet can still stun him
Billy is the most balanced killer in the game, in order to deal with him get out of LoS and try to stay as far from him as possible
Michael has a build up as well

Don't run in a straight line and keep breaking LOS and you instantly remove the instadowns of 90% of Killers. The only instadowns I would say are OP are Huntress because if Infantry Belt and Ghostface because of how broken his stealth is.
Oni has 0 instadown capability unless he hits healthy survivors twice
Billy has limited steering after he dashes for about half a second
Myers has no power if you properly break LOS
Bubba is an absolute joke assuming you can loop properly. If you feel that worried, just drop the pallet early.
Huntress you need to break LOS as much as possible or get good at dodging and hope to god she doesnt have a belt
For Ghostface, my only real advice is to run Spine Chill. If it lights up for more than 2-3 seconds with no TR, then you're facing a stealth Killer and need to get ready to run

Tell the myers not to tier up to tier 3. Tell bubba and the hillbilly to run speed limiter so you have a chance to escape. Don't forget to tell them to miss their target and just m1 you.

And yet, only 1 of them is a top spot killer, 1 of them is mid-tierish, and 1 of them is low tier.
All 3 of which are completely loopable.
But what would I know.

Oni can get deleted, billy and bubba are fun to play against, if they dont have speed addons, etc.
